It's way too early to tell with him. He's definitely not a wunderkid. He'll need to work himself up.
What is your defenition of wunderkind?
Already superstars in their teenage year or right at 20. Neymar and Hazard currently. All our starting forwards, CR7, ozil and benz, had breakthrough years at or before the age of 20. So did Higuain. None of these guys were just starting their pro careers and figuring out if they belonged... they broke down the gates when they got their chance.

Yes before we got Oezil I wasn't very excited about the acquisition... He worked out awesomely!

I see. Well obviously Sarabia doesnt match that, but Im sure he could become a great played when hes older. His expectations are high, hes not called the 'Spanish Messi' for nothing...

Picture perfect cross. All you have to do as an attacking player is put your head on it.

He hasn't played that much, is usually benched but scored against Barca(although it was a deflection )

Re: The Jewel of Spain : Pablo Sarabia
I watched the spanish u21 two days ago and boy did he impress when the striker and a winger were subbed he shifted to the wing and deuluefue in the other. him and carvajal combined so well and penetrated the belgians nearly everytime. then sarabia got subbed and literally the game became so dull it could have been used as a powerful analgesic for people who needed it. id love to have him back. he looks like he hasn't lost his technique and still spreads beautiful passes between the defence. id rather this guy than any other guy the club wants to buy. saves money and preserves quality

Sarabia is obviously really talented. Anyone who watches him can see that. He needs the right environment to grow though and I don't think he is getting that at Getafe.

Re: The Jewel of Spain : Pablo Sarabia
you think castilla would be the best place? after all they are playing teams that can get promoted to laliga anyways. they have done well against the top teams this season its the bottom teams thats an issue also having sarabia would soften the heavy burden on jese.
on the other side id like castilla to move on I don't think its good for them to rely heavily on one or two players. omar looked great on sunday and I am sure casmeiro (he looks fat) can take up mosqueras role then you have the am position we are dangerously thin in maybe jose rodriguez

I think a move outside Spain would be best for Pablito, it's done wonders for Carvajal and I think it can do the same for him.
Under ideal conditions Jese, Jose and Morata would be promoted all three have the raw skills to be first team players really.

Re: The Jewel of Spain : Pablo Sarabia
Jese, Jose yes Morata I am not sure
He just seems out of sorts for Castilla and has Benz type misses from point blank no exaggeration. if anything Morata is the one who needs a new environment the times I have seen him there has been no suggestions he can contribute to our first team. not to mention unless higgy or benz leave the guy will be given scarce mins even if both are injured. remember when he was called but callegoat played striker. I just don't see his future with us

Is there any chance to buy him back ? I prefer him over Di Maria.

Re: The Jewel of Spain : Pablo Sarabia
you want to buy a player that never plays for getafe, has failed to develop his pro career in two years in la liga and play him over a confirmed professional that performs at Champions league level against the likes of manchester united?
are you nuts?

How do you know that he won't perform under Mourinho's guidance ? You have to take risks, look at Varane for example.

Mourinho's guidance
i am not surprised of that answer, that's the kind of mindset you take everywhere you post. X player is so talented he can become world class, Y player can be the new Zidane, Z player is so talented he can be as good as Messi.
ffs, football doesnt work like that. Varane is an exception, 1 in 1000. Dont think what happened with him is normal, otherwise, Canales would have become world class with us, Sahin would be the world best CM by now etc... The simple fact that you are suggesting using Sarabia over Di Maria is nuts, please stop. And even if we were to sign him back now, he would take months before even scrapping the level Di MAria is at. and i am talking about months of playing time, which you dont get when you aint good enough in madrid.
for fck sake!
