Bench Benz thread!

Benz is a very capable,creative forward but he is by no means a real '9' When you play a Kaka and Ozil together, there's no place for him in the starting lineup He just runs into Kaka's space
As long as CR7 isn't playing CF and we have 3 creative players behind our forward we need a real '9' to finish off moves. You could see the difference when Higgy played against Espanyol Farca. He is the one who makes perfect runs behind the defence for a 4-2-3-1
We sacrifice some creativity and linkup play by benching Benz but in return we'll get a real presense in the box. Benz leaves his poacher position all too often without the need of it. If you want to include Benz into the lineup, you have to sacrifice either Kaka or Ozil because they serve the same purpose

I say we just start whoever is playing well.
Whether it be kaka,benzema, di maria, higuian etc etc.

As of right now I stand by that which is why I do NOT want to see Di Maria in our starting line up.

Benz can't streak good performances longer than for a month. He always gets injured when on top

he will play rotation between benz / higgy to what fits the most to the game, also they both can play together it has happened before (uhm supercopa)

in porto he also used rotation in his attack, i dont see why he wont here, he has 2 good strikers and both needs to be utilised. still think higgy will get the most playing time, there is a reason to why mou never was happy with benz from the start

also kaka has been in a fantastic form, also i think we can cover him if he gets injured

özil gets injured (he plays on the wing) = di maria
kaka gets injured = özil and benz can play AM

so we are ok depth wise. kaka deserves to start the way hes playing, he is carrying our team alone on this bad form
