The team revolves around Ronaldo ( and I'm sure "mou" knows that ) , no matter which fantasies others my entertain. He scores a disproportionate amount of the golas, he changes the other teams's prespective. No other RM player even comes close to doing so.

He must be kept happy!

Lastly, while I'm not privieed to stats, it's obvious that even the most storied of free kick takers score on a small percentage of them and he is, therefore, on of the best FK takes on the planet, unless someone can breakout "documentable" stats to counter that!

While I agree that Ronaldo is the man in FK's (and the team in general) I don't think Cris would mind if the others asked him to take a free kick or two.

Reason why i think Ronaldo should be responsible for Free Kicks is that he's so confident in what he's doing. it's something that Fergie has teached him, "don't fear from trying". he may not be able to do many things but his confidence always helps him in that way.
