I did not say he would become a runner at EPL, i'm saying he's not trying to track back which leaves defenders vulnerable. tracking back is a simple job, you don't have to be a runner to do this.

Calling Isco average is like calling Benzema talentless. Not only are both statements wrong, one comes off as a silly lil hater.

I personally have no need to defend Ozil as he is not a RM player. Not that I am stating anything insulting, he really would not have made the starting 11 under Carlo.

What a horrible professional. Glad we let him go

Bale might have cost alot but he takes after Ronaldo in hard work and dedication.

Indeed. Ozil also drew the criticism of former Germany midfielder Michael Ballack in the Sky Sports studio after the match.

Ballack said his compatriot appears to have lost the trust of his teammates.

Ballack said: "He [Ozil] looks a little bit lost in this team. He started well when he came but it seems like he doesn't have the acceptance of his team now and he should be untouchable."

He had a spat with Falmini today - http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/arsenals-mathieu-flamini-and-mesut-ozil-fight-on-the-pitch-during-defeat-to-bayern-munich-vine/

Hope he finds his form again

the hypocrisy is OVER 9000!!!, ozil always lacked stamina and way never the leader type, and its funny how all of sudden he has always been this or that, but when he was here goat or best in the world, hardly gets blame for anything ever, then again meatshield (benz) was taking all the hits for the team Laughing

Even at Ozils shittiest he would still give assists to everyone every game. In LaLiga the good outweighed the bad. In big games his lack of tracking back and poor stamina became a problem.

Benzema on the other hand lol I am not even going there

The amount of love and "best AM in the world" he got from the fans here seem to all have been forgotten.

Laughing fickle as ever, a lot of these performances these same fans used to praise cause ozil would get the odd assists here and there, when things really went bad is was always meat shields fault Rolling Eyes, and lot of them form their opinion from media or the atmosphere of the forum.

the same thing happened with isco before he got dropped Laughing

smh, really? i would think he misses the team Not the team missing him.....don't tell me that every draw or loss we get, a forum dedicated to a former player will be raised from the ashes....please save that rubbish, we have played over 30 games this season, one would have thought some fans would have gotten over certain players leaving by now

he wouldn't have been any different from what he was...u're acting like he led us to all the trophies in the world or like he's doing some magic now at arsenal....he would still get tired at the 60th minute mark and still falter against physical opposition. he played last season against sevilla at the sanchez-pizjuan, and we did not win that game either, so save all this ozil stuff...i could understand the sneijder robben argument the year they left cos they made an instant impact at the clubs they joined, being consistent enough to get their clubs to lead their respective leagues for most of the season till the end. ozil's gone, that ship has sailed, not coming back...when the team was beating the likes of schalke villareal no one said anything about ozil; now all of a sudden ozil is supposed to be this player that will unlock defenses in big games? (...yes he had the assist in that one clasico and a late free kick against dortmund and one against i think malaga or betis...but even in those games he was crap for most of the match)

How long have i been telling you he's just an average player? 2 years, three years now? No one believed me, because no one wanted to believe. How many trophies does Madrid have to waste for you to start believing? Isnt a decade of dry enough?
