Re: No reactions to Pepe?
Dude I didn't say it wasn't disgraceful and while it's subjective if you have a free kick and you push a guy to get the ball is that a yellow card?
I was simply saying that the fact that he had a free kick contributed to the refree leaving him uncarded.
I expect that you call for every player who pushes a guy on the field in order to get the ball for a free kick to get a yellow card.?

It's a contact sport, just deal with it. Pepe's just playing the game the way it's meant to be played. This is not softball ffs.

Re: No reactions to Pepe?
Its not the pushing that bothered me, its the kicking him to the ground, and then cheaply nicking him on the back of the head with his foot as an added bonus. As I said, this is nowhere near the incidents he made before, but for me its just one more than I can take. I realize lifelong ban is an overreaction, and I wouldnt want the team I support to be left with Carvalho as the one CB, but I would soooooo want to sell this guy elsewhere and forget he ever existed.
He has no way of controlling his temperament. Just zero control. I know some of you would argue that some things he does he doesnt do from malice, but recklessly, which is probably true, but the fact remains that if you do horrible shit - repeatedly - it shouldn't matter if you meant it or not (and this time he did mean it). Same goes for De Jong for instance. Who cares if he leaves his heart on the sleeve if he already sent several people to months-long recovery and could have done so even more if the gods were less kind.
@Contact sport comment - its one thing to play tough, and another to play dangerous or hit out oponents on purpose. Premier League is full of tough guys who play clean, dont kill others or hit out at them. On the other hand you have Van Bommels and De Jongs of the world. There are many defensive midfielders who are world class, and are not undisciplined bastards commiting professional fouls as they please.

Adebayor, Ramos, Pepe, mourinho...i'm going make a video about madrid's karate skills. And most strong man is ramos between them, it was amazing how he pushed puyol and today how he pushes levante players near di maria like they are a paper. The man is a jungle boy

Used Humble and Respectful as my template and used the words to describe Pepe that are totally the opposite of his character
