Let's be honest, however efficient the tactic was, Milan's game today was not one the team with the most amount of titles international titles in history and one with a long-standing tradition as one of Serie A's most appealing sides should be proud of.

Agreed, but thats only because they failed to win. If the game had of ended 1-0 in favor of Milan it would have been something to be extremely proud of. They were very close to putting in a defensive masterclass.

Let's be honest here, Milan is not a team full of superstar players. Out of the starting 11 today, MVB, Seedoorf, Cassano, Nesta, Abbiati, Zambrotta are all above 30, and most in their 33's. Nocerino is untested, and KPB is average at best. Abate is despite our fondness of him is not the finished article, and neither is Pato (who causes your defense numerous problems in the first 25 minutes). This leaves T. Silva as the only complete super star. Milan does not have the fiancial power to compete with Barca, and we played to our strength.

Compare that to Barca and you find a huge difference.

While Barca and Real Madrid could pay whatever is asked for the players they buy, Milan had to buy players at cut deals and free transfers. The fact that we can face Barca and Madrid without getting raped is a testament of our strong mentality.

A beggar does not pretend to be a prince.

If this was the Milan of 03-07, where we could have faced you as equals, I would agree. But right now, don't expect us to kneel down and get raped for the sake of "playing beautifully".

It is not intelligent to try for a win at the home of a big team even if you are a other big team.

Try for a draw then to win when at home, that is the clever tactic.
