Well I think you will need a specific free role destroyer to just follow messi around.

Problem is you will have to sacrifice a spot in the attack somewhere. That's the guide for any team.

Guys like Messi barely have bad days. The most any manager could do is try to curtail his influence enough to gain some sort of foothold. How they go about doing that is another issue but stopping Messi totally isn't a probable task...

Messi with argentina is different from that with Barca. You either have to shutdown the midfield, in the case of barca you have to tell Iniesta, Xavi, and Cesca to STFU for 90 mins. That's something which wont happen alot of times.

The winning strategy is to read the thread that i posted just above your current post.

Regardless of Messi being in Barca or Argentina, messi is stild messi.he poses a huge threat regardless of where he is.

Messi is a monster, instead of trying to shut him down I say shut everyone else down and let him do his thing.. Maybe that will work

They do that in the NBA quite a bit, let the superstar "get his points" but nothing more..
