Huntelaar came at a bad time. funny enough thinking about it now, huntelaar wud have been real good if he stayed here. wud easily beat RVP if he was here under the direction of Mou.

Meh, He was so so at best... A good rotation player but he wanted a bigger role... Plus what Zealous said...

i was a huge huntelaar fan before he came to madrid..

he just came at the worst possible time, and to be honest he was very mismanaged when we tried to incorporate him into our squad.

As an Ajax, Real Madrid and Netherlands NT fan, I have seen more than enough of Huntelaar.

He is too old-fashioned a player to play for a club like Real Madrid. He is just a poacher, and against mediocre sides he is effective in scoring, but he is very, very inversatile.

He is a good player for Schalke, to score 4 times against a Finnish b-team: that's his role. But scoring against quality sides? Adding that extra element? No.

Van Nistelrooy would have been the better option.

I think it was right to let him go,his sealings seems to be very limited for me.He has no flare and he is no crack.

Sucked at real then at Milan and last but not least at Schalke last season.
even old rusty Raul is better than Huntelaar.
