Iniesta is better.
Achieved more at a younger age by playing a crucial role.
Both Xavi and Iniesta are better.

Iniesta is more or less in Zidane level, maybe he hasn't reached that yet, but let's not forget that Zidane started to shine pretty late. Iniesta has been shining for some years already. He can definitely get on Zidane levels. The problem is that even if Iniesta reaches or surpassess Zidane levels, he will never get the credit, because he will always be outshadowed by the best player ever.

Unless he went to keep winning titles with Spain, where Iniesta could be the undisputed star, but I don't think that will happen (hopefully).

Thats not my point, my point is if iniesta was at any other club in the world the team would be built around him and to his strengths. I think it would really highlight his powers and further magnify them. It would be great If I could see that. Imagine iniesta being the focal point of milan, that would be great.

About Iker, hes proven himself with shit defenders infront of him already. Although he has stayed with the same club for 10 years + he has played with atleast 4 to 5 different teams.

Real madrid always had great defender at least better than malaga and stock.Anyway i believe great player always remain great
regardless of different team and circumstance.But we wish totti.giggs,maldini should move from their respective club to others
so we can highlight their strengths and weakness.but unfortunately that never happened and we will never know.

Totti and giggs had their teams built around them at one point or another.

Barcelona will never be built around iniesta, messi will always be there.

Lets just for example was barca built around iniesta and he is doing as good as now or even batter. and people will start to tell us ok i want xavi and messi built a team around them and see how they can go..see it one way or
another..this type of wish/demand never make sense and never will.

may be..Some People think Zidane,iniesta,michael laudrup etc types of player is underrated and others think

Zidane was better than Cruyff, Kubala and all the Barca lengends put together, it's insulting to compare him to Iniesta.

What Iniesta would do with a ball, Zidane would do with an orange, his grace on the field was breathtaking, his balletic movement made football a great viewing pleasure and a football great, Iniesta will always be the player who lived in the shadows of bigger stars in every team he played in, surely he is no where near Zidane, the only Barcelona players that come close to Zidane are Messi and Ronaldinho.

Zidane is great player.but in my opinion he is not Cruyff Level.Ask any people who knows football, watching and observing for
long time..But i think Zidane is better than iniesta though.

It's for 7-8 years that Madrid's defence is meh ( this season not ).

This is a tough one.. but for me I will go with zidane. Zidane could dribble just as good as iniesta, and was extremely agile for his height. What he had that iniesta will never have was strength, aerial ability, great long shooting, and dead ball specialist. In smaller part, he was also a penalty master, never missing one as far as I know. Zidane could dictate a game, and contributes more then iniesta. What Iniesta IMO has over zidane is agility, acceleration, and that's maybe it. I really just can't think how zidane is not better then iniesta

This is true. I don't know why people keep on saying that zidane won the wc 98 almost single handedly, when he wasn't even france best player at the WC..

Zidane is a great player, on of the all time best, but he is indeed overrated and when I say overrated I don't mean that he was bad, but just that he is not in the top 5..

yuri, that's an interesting thought. The most that I have seen Iniesta underrated is on our forums. Among Spanish football experts the opinion is mixed with some thinking very high of him and some a little less. Among English football pundits he is very highly valued and several just can't stop singing his praises. Carlton Palmer is a die hard fan for example.

In the first half i was very angry at him, he failed every attempt. i think he had space problem. but in the second half he did better than zidane

Zidane was pretty class throughout most of his career.

I think there is no doubting Iniesta is a special thing, like Zidane. He's in a special team, and is an integral part in the best Spain team ever (probably...?) as well as the best Barcelona team ever (probably...).

I think if he continues this trend for a couple of years then he will for sure be on Zidanes level. If he's not there already.
