Conte keeps Vidal on ice
Antonio Conte won’t give Arturo Vidal his Juventus debut against Real Betis Sevilla. “We’ve got to keep quiet and step on it.”
Chilean midfielder Vidal had his first training session in Turin today, but has been left behind as the team went to Salerno for tomorrow’s friendly with Betis.
“He’ll need a little time to get into the system and find his fitness. I saw that with Chile he played everywhere except in goal, but we signed him to be a central midfielder. In emergencies, he could be used elsewhere,” said the Coach.
“Simone Pepe, Luca Toni and Fabio Quagliarella will also stay behind to work on their fitness.
“The players have gathered the idea of our new tactics, but there is a lot more work to be done. Mirko Vucinic has only just arrived, Vidal started today and every day is a new test for us.
“It’s also inevitable considering we are a work in progress and the squad is incomplete.”
Juventus are not in Europe this season, but hope they can enter the Scudetto race.
“We know that Milan, Inter and Napoli are already road-tested, while we are starting practically from scratch,” continued Conte.
“We are building, but mustn’t leap to conclusions. We’ve got to keep quiet and step on it, trying to become competitive as quickly as possible.”

Re: Conte keeps Vidal on ice
Hmm, very odd even though he didn't play for some weeks, he did play in the Coppa America which was not to long ago. Well, he has a point though, he's not use to the system compared to Marchisio so I guess it's a good move as he needs more playing time and it's good that Conte is not showing favoritism, and he right now uses Marchisio, to bad though i wanted to see a 4-3-3.

Conte said in his press conference, Chiellini is a risk as he recived a minor injury from the National team and is not certain yet who will partner up with Matri, though it's obvious Vucinic. Lichstiener Bonucci Chiellini(Barz) De Ceglie
