Lissandro Lopez. He's a good technical goalscorer and I don't think he would mind playing as a 3rd striker and could easily step up in the absence of either Benz or Pipa if there was an injury or suspension.

I'm not sure, lisandro is 28 and indisputable starter for lyon. i dont think you can turn that kind of player into a 3rd CF.

how so? he is in his prime and he has a guaranteed starting spot in a CL team, that has chances to win la ligue 1 every year.

Actually I felt as though he was in his prime at Porto. Also he never succeeded in a top European league and I'm sure he would relish the opportunity to finish off his top of Europe days at Madrid. Our third striker usually ends up playing a huge role. He has a chance of winning the CL here rather than just competing in it.

And then he could head back to Argentina!

our 3rd CF played a big role because higuain was out, but if benzema and higgy are fit, it's a very different story for him. i wouldnt say no to him ofc, he is great, but im not sure it's a feasible operation, not to mention the money Lyon would ask for him

I agree with you for the most part, however, and I really hope I'm wrong on this, Benz or Pipa may be out with injury and/or off form (I'm looking at you Karim) so it's good to have a quality cover rather than making a rash signing like we did last year. Let's face it Adebayor sucks.

that's the point of signing a 3rd CF but it's also very difficult to find that will selflessly back up the others, and he has to be quality as well.

i hope this isnt the case. at the moment we have enough cover with ronaldo and callejon even though they are not natural forwards.

morata and joselu as well.

if we do buy anyone for the 3rd CF role its going to be adebayor like it or not.
which i dont mind as long as benzema and higuain are clearly cuts above him in mous mind.

Has the physical advantage when it comes to height.
Has the experience.
would possibly love to play for real madrid even if it was only as a 3rd cf and little playing time..

Also has a strong sense of positioning and good link-up play.
