Sold is being generous. They gave him away for pretty much nothing.

Valencia are done. Sad as they have historically been my favourite team in La Liga. Peter Lim's takeover has had nothing but negatives for the club. Financially they are at the worst situation they have been in decades, their La Liga campaign has been atrocious and they are losing players left right and centre. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.

Just to give non-La Liga fans an idea, they have changed coaches 13 times since Peter Lim bought the club 7 years ago

Well, I stand to be corrected but the last time Koeman coached in Spain (I believe Valencia), he did try to overhaul the squad by having the club literally force players out which ended up in a court battle. He also attended his first match as manager of Valencia via television as, according to him, it was the best way to view a team.

So Barcelona went from a man who blindfolds players (cannot believe this is who Cas rates so highly) to that man.

Honestly, Barca need to start over.

Build everything up again, but Koeman isn't the man for that.

I'd have given it to Xavi, and spend a season working on building a core.

Xavi declined because he doesnt want to take over with this management board still in place. Koeman is another yes-man, typical appointment, reportedly Bartomeu's favorite which comes as no surprise. This clown has completely ruined the club. Also Abidal stays in his position as a "sporting director"... I have no idea what he does, but he seems to suck at his job, too. Won't get dismissed because he's a friend and this is Club de Amigos now.

Elections are scheduled for March 15th, so no real change will happen until next summer. Then we can expect Komean to get the sack and possibly Xavi come in with a completely new project.

I don't think Messi would accept a big salary cut so imo the only ones who can really sign him during Corona are shieks from Man City and PSG. IMO he'll stay and it's all just press talk.

How does it take LaLiga 10-15 for am offside call when it take the PL a few seconds?
