Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
You're looking at it all wrong and the only way to prove it is City dropping points, which this team of all teams won't. But if you believe games in hand is better, stick to your bundesliga where you have guaranteed wins before you even play and you can go out have a good time without tuning into the game.
Also, I am, as every Liverpool fan around me, well aware we aren't going to win the league and trust me this thought isn't new to me because it seems otherwise in yours.
For the PL, Points on the board is much much better than having games in hand. Arsenal losing to Wolves and United losing to City when all other teams have played is one example of a million in every season but I doubt you'd even try to understand the dynamics since clearly you don't.

Liverpool is a team I have some affection for, it's kind of a reverse Stockholm syndrome maybe but I like them nonetheless, the two best African players leading their offense.
Liverpool will be champions it's their year, I think both CL and league but at least one

Pogba has long legs his walking is like running for Kante
Also he plays for United, no need to run vs the peasant teams of EPL

Fernandinho and KdB are injured. Pep is now forced to play either Sane or Foden . In before he goes with Foden and Bernardo on the wings instead of Sane.
Against United as soon as Fernandinho goes out and Gundogan moves to the CDM role and teams looks miles better. Anyone with 2 eyes can see it but Pep keeps going with those two against big teams. Even though they can't play together since neither is creative enough to replace KdB or Bernardo as a CM.

I just don't understand why you're doing this now lol. It's been in City's hands the entire time you've been doing this.
Doesn't make logical sense from a timing perspective, if you said this when Liverpool were ahead by quite a lot fair enough.
But over the past couple of months it hasn't really made sense.

Yes, his legs are long. It's well documented that he can stick them up his arse, and he does so regularly. If you ever wondered why he's never played well against a top team, it's because he's been playing with one leg.

That's one match, and "single-handedly" is quite the exaggeration. Name one more match where he stood out as a difference-maker. He's been at Man United for 3 years now. I can count multiple big games where he looked marginally more impressive than a scarecrow. If we sign him and he predictably acts like an overhyped diva 3/4 of the season, I'll never stop bothering you about endorsing his signing
To sum up my opinion of him, the lower levels of his performances are fitting of how Real Madrid have been playing at their worst this season, and that's not something I want to carry over to the new look side that we ideally want to create. Even if I was a die-hard fan of his, I'd hesitate to gamble on someone who, despite boasting obvious talent, is clearly far too unpredictable in his performance level.

False messiah Nick is the gonna be the downfall of this Pool side. I bet they'll lose against Barcelona too because of him.
Also, a central midfielder than walks more than runs better be fucking Xavi esque in the games he plays (which Pogba is not). Zizou really want this version of Paul

signing Pogbinho could be a beautiful disaster and the same headaches for us too. History and come on sense says players who are emotional and only perform in special contextes can't be trusted. But the talent is so appealing that you want to forget common sense. i would be surprised if United let him go though...

Absolute cancer of a player.
The last thing we need is a player like Pogba who does not put in his due effort in defense.

Not so fast.
Let's take a proper look at these numbers.
So the number behind the percentage is supposed to be his spot among other 'midfielders'?
So then he WALKS the most of all midfielder, but JOGS the next to least of them.
So clearly calling him Jogba is completely wrong. We must call him Walkba.
Also, Nick is correct, in that the fact that he is among the top third in terms of distance covered, but first in walking, last in jogging, and midfield among all forms of running means in fact that he covers more ground walking than other players do jogging.

Pogba would cost at least 150m (not including his salary and the signings fees of his cancerous agent).
Now imagine Madrid going all these years without signing elite talent because they think "they are too expensive", only to sign this overrated pile of shit 2 years later.
I really hope that tax machine still doesn't work.

Nobody wants top four. It's genuinely amazing to watch.
United could be the big winners this weekend.
