7.73, highest rating on EPL's whoscored with Sterling's 7.71 at 2nd. I see no flaws with Arq's comment tbh.

I will never use such banal Whoscored stats to back my point my incredulity in Han's statement is as if Hazard is outmatched by a player in such a vast gulf, for such an outright declaration.

He's the best dribbler in PL, as for everything else other players are better.
But as always, people who don't understand football go for stats and the stats they go for overstate dribbling.
You'll have two of them overrated sideways dribblers at Real once he joins, Chad will tell you all about it so I won't have to tbh.

I rather have those two overrated dribblers than Vasquez and Bale. Also, I cannot emphasis how much I do not give a shit about Chad's opinion.

Don't get me wrong, Hazard is of course a far, far, infinitely far better player than Isco even if I class them both as overrated sideways dribblers.
Also, Kante is truly amazing tonight.

I personally choose to have Chad's opinions hold a lot of weight on my mind as beyond the tantrum filled posts and suicidal chuckles over this forum, I do feel some insight must be given on how a man can maintain one agenda for so long without ever reconsidering his stance.

Giving Kante credit but ignoring Hazard's man of the match performance, typical.

I'm not a stat guy either, but some of his numbers this year are just ridiculous.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Hazard has won me over primarily for the fact (and him at the World Cup) that he has evolved beyond a wayward dribbler with underused creative abilities.
Put it down to coaching, Chelsea's manager-go-round, never having a proper attacking LB supporting him or his own stagnation by some point and being too introspective in his dribbling;
but on a year in year out basis in an increasingly underwhelming squad and relative to the support and consistency his rival teams get, I see little else intercepting that claim of being the best player in the PL even if it does admittedly stand as a subjective opinion (still will not use stats).
Just the sheer havoc he causes with his runs and now more central influence is astounding. Yes the West Ham goal had shambolic defending but credit given to the audacity in taking on the defensive line and right down the middle.
It is easily debatable given the emergence of other attackers but under Sarri especially who's few good highlights in his Chelsea debut have been his use of Hazard who has been criminally used to defend by two separate coaches, and utilised for creative abilities overlooked for years, similarly to how Sarri used Insigne.
Chelsea is not a top elite club anymore and I do not see it anytime see with Abramovic's weaning interests to his boytoy and the step up to Real Madrid dare I say is 2 years late and there he should be scrutinised without excuse (unless poorly used) and Zidane has wanted him in Real Madrid for years.
(Isco on the other hand it does pain me to say mostly is a dribbler)

The same people who think Hazard is the best (except Arq) are the same people who barely watched the PL and claimed Courtois was the best keeper.
Don't trust these people.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Hazard is currently a top-10 player in the world and could even be top-5. Single-handedly has carried Chelsea's attack (and top-4 chances) this season. I don't think Aguero could do it, I don't think Salah (or Mané) could do it, I don't think Griezmann could do it, Ronaldo probably couldn't do it any more (although I'm not sure if everything was organized to create chances for him). Messi, Suarez, Neymar and a fully fit Carroll I could see having this same sort of impact, that's about it.
