Darmian is so bad ffs, we should be paying Italian teams to take him off our hands, not demanding 20m for him over the summer

But dat fukken save by Alisson and afterwards quick throw to start our counter for the 3rd goal.. Could've easily ended 2-2 without Alisson, he is winning us points match after match now

Just fuck that game in all honesty. Obviously we should have won, but I guess old habits die hard on our own part.
Terrible team (United), terrible ground (Old Trafford).
Unbeaten run continues (the only positive).

United/Arsenal was either fantastic or a train wreck, depending on your perspective.
Tbh, I'm just glad to get it out of the way an am praying our injuries aren't too bad.

I don't understand how a game between Mou and Emery can have such shocking defending. Arsenal's CBs on the second goal should be benched forever

Impossible to call him better than Ter Stegen. But both are just keeping the seat warm for a Neuer in top form

Utd have conceded 25 goals already, absolutely mind boggling.
I honestly think Mourinho encourages, or at least deep down doesn't mind, goals conceded this season, to keep scoring points vs Ed Woodward that he should have had another CB in the summer.
That's more important to him than the club's success IMO.

Individual mistakes are not really the managers fault.
All a manager can do is consistently put a player in the best position to succeed, after that it's up to the player to execute.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
We suck defensively because we don‘t have any good defenders aside from Sokratis, it‘s well known. Which is why I really want Emery to stop playing only one of Aubameyang/Lacazette in recent games. Even with a more „defensive“ set up, we still conceded 2 goals per game. How much worse can it really get? I reckon we would‘ve won the game if Lacazette and Aubameyang started the game.

Watching those goals it was like 2 drunk people playing PES
So many mistakes in defence from both teams, the level of defending was hilarious, I didn't see stuff like this in Serbian zonal league tbh

We at least have the excuse of playing a very intense and emotional derby last Sunday and had our best performing defender go off injured. Don't know what United's excuse is.

Meanwhile Chelsea lost against Wolves. Don't know if I should laugh or cry because they are playing City this weekend. Ffs we faced both Arsenal and Chelsea when they were in top form, City facing them both when both are playing like shit

Like it was all individual mistakes. There was 0 organization in the second half. It looked like middle school football, everyone always out of position with no defensive gameplan in sight.

I didn't watch the game, i'm assuming from the tone of your post that it was individual mistakes.
Also players are human tbh, they can't follow the coaches instructions 100% perfectly every time. Even City players do stupid shit, it's just they usually win regardless so it doesn't matter.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
thought the game was pretty even tbh, draw probably fair, no idea what some Arsenal fans are talking about with you should have obviously won the game..
game was utter shit on a footballing level but fairly entertaining
there's no way we make fourth this season, and I think that seals Mou's fate..barring a CL win.
Also, Lukaku is horrific. I think I'd genuinely, GENUINELY take a prime Grant Holt over him.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
oh and no team that gifts Lingard his first goal in 27 games in the manner Arsenal did tonight ever deserves ANYTHING from a game
Remember the hype for this numpty? most of it was tongue-in-cheek on GL but there were actually United fans that rated him. I knew it was horseshit at the time though.

The real question is who wouldn't you take prime Grant Holt over?
Living legend tbh.

shouldn't have conceded that silly 2nd goal. It was the most comical of all the goals tbh.
Should have at least scored one of those successive missed chances between Aubayemang and Mkitaryan.
