Qutie happy with the win, we are far from perfect though, and Sevilla could have easily drawn or won it, they really troubled us on many occasions. Our two goals came from two individual brilliance after all, even though we created a lot of chances.... some good signs from some of the players, obviously Dembele, Im really happy for him after recent rumours, hes definitely staying with us.

Arthur and Semedo looked pretty good. Ter Stegen like all GKs nowadays making so many mistakes but at least he made up for them.

We can owned too easily on the counter and our defensive play is still pretty weak... so thats gotta improve. On the attacking side, I feel Messi as good as he is still, will need more help from others in the team to be the difference maker as time passes, and it looks like we are getting a lot in that with the additions we have made.

So looks like it is going to be 4-3-3 this season.
Although not really a 4-3-3. Messi still plays like he always does. Except now he receives the ball wider than normal.
I dont know if it will work in 2018. You could clearly see the problems in the first half.
No penetration on the right. Messi always preferring the ball to feet instead of running to create an opening for a pass. He didnt try to dribble once when he received the ball wide. The fullback will have to do all the running on that side. Will be interesting to see the tactics going forward.

And Coutinho is a superstar.

4-3-3 has always been the Barca way. Glad to see Valverde actually reverting back to it this season already, showing that last season was really just make shift more or less, and winning the double with it.

Last season could have been much better if it werent for that bad game vs Roma, and Im looking forward to us in the CL this season, it seems thats our main focus now.
