I'm praying for you mole.
We finished 10th last season with an inferior team
I'm not concerned about that, i quite frankly don't care. What's going off the field is far more important.

Who'd you sign? I've been under this impression that you haven't reinforced at all lmao. Hasn't there been a lot of chatter about Benitez complaining about the lack of additions?

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
It's not much and it's all loans and free's but it's better than what we had last season.
Rondon, Schar, Ki, Goalkeeper we had on loan last season, Kenedy and some Japanese forward from Mainz
Rafa is complaining because he's been lied to multiple times and as Rafa said himself " we exist just to stay up and it's not good enough".

Lol and has Ashley responded to any of that? Wasn't he supposedly interested in selling the club a few months ago...what happened to that?

Not to Benitez but he did release a statement this afternoon responding to a local politician.
He seems incredibly rattled by everything tbh
As for the takeover it kind of just died and we've heard nothing since.

As it stands, none of La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 or Eredivisie will be broadcast on UK TV next season. Even if there are workarounds for some, that seems a bloody shame.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Eleven Sports got most of it and they're an online service. They say they're working on getting a channel for Sky/Virgin, though.
Sky and BT have invested so much in the Premier League rights that they didn't have enough to outbid the competition for all the other stuff.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
not gonna lie, my heart sank a little when I saw no Eredivise
not sure how I'll be able to cope without watching Herenveen vs Vitesse etc
oh wait, I stream everything anyway ffs
though, the lack of it being on regular UK options may actually affect how readily available a lot of streams are
prolly gonna get a lot of foreign language streams now ffs

Oh, that's not too bad then.
I really wish we have a NBA type system with online season pass for PL etc. That would be insanely popular.
Right now I have become more and more TV orientated and i hate streaming illegally. I pay for sky and BT for a reason so the least i expect is proper football. But we don't even get that with 3pm matches never being shown.

it will be a very hard race to get top 4 this season not just because the top teams are strong but the small clubs have spent big and will be very hard to beat.

Yeah it feels like unlike last season, the PL might have a decent midfield again.
Everton should be better than last season, West Ham should be good, Wolves look strong. Leicester will be ok.
Not sure whether Burnley can replicate their results though, but they'd still be tough to beat, surely.
Last season it was top 6 and noone else. Hopefully this season City will meet more resistance and not get 100 points and 32 wins.
Though I still expect them to walk the league easily.

Klopp has to deliver this season, he can‘t escape criticism if he fails to win nothing with the squad he has.

Liverpool are serial losers and so is Klopp, so of course they won't win a thing. He'll have his excuses come the end of the season for sure.

As he should over a 38 game season City are better.
Don't care how much they've spent, they still aren't the favourites thus shouldn't be expected to win the league.

I don‘t expect City to be as good as they were last season, the excitement is gone, Aguero/Silva are a year older and not convinced the replacements can replicate what they‘ve done in the Premier League.
Liverpool should compete with the squad they have, unless they bottle it of course, but then Klopp should be blamed if a 300m squad fails to compete for a league title just like Mourinho and Guardiola himself got blamed.
Don‘t want to hear any kind of excuses for Liverpool or Klopp, they have to show up.

Agreed. They should up there pushing City for the title, make it hard work for them at the very least.
