@Tito
It wasn't some grand adjustment, all Calleja did was just add on an extra winger at HT to increase the likelihood of them having speed on the wings to counter us at...to which they did. What my boy Zidane did, wait till the 70th minute to bring on Lucas and Asensio. As he always does. Nothing changes.

To add insult to injury, 2 legit PKs denied, the Villareal player being offside leading up to the goal and Fornais sprinting 80 yards to get to our box while Kroos could not even be bothered. Or Casemiro for that matter.

Do you know who actually tracked back...Asensio, an attacking midfielder. Sigh

it couldn't have happened last year, we also had morata who was hungry on the bench. at least he'd have started and have cron and bale in their rightful roles...but yeah i get it, the problems are recurring.

for whatever reason, i really now don't want anyone in january, i'm vehemently against it. i want us, flo especially to learn our lesson the hardway, and in the summer look in the mirror and start afresh. flo might have to spend a billion over two seasons to sort this one out

well, zidane is press conference, always the same stuff:
-we played well
-0 reproach to my players
-we are in a bad stretch but things will get better, i dont know when, but it will get better
-i can't explain why we are not scoring
-we try we try, but nothing goes our way

I think it's now time for the Madrid board to:

1. Stop listening to Zidane about not signing players.
2. Go all out and get a striker now. NOW.

Kroos was good today.

Ronaldo was poor. Slow, his reaction time has become so slow.

He should have been subbed not bale.

Asensio and Isco need to play together.

Kroos was playing as an advanced CM trying to create chances is a bit useless lol, he was good today but I dare say that Ceballos would have been a lot more dangerous in the same role tonight.

Anyway just a comment

lol which striker can we sign? the names people mention will not want to leave their teams to come to out mighty club seated at fourth on the table 19 points (i can't believe i'm saying that, 19 points) behind barcelona. with the enormous pressure from the club and fans alike no established player wants that kind of headache in the middle of the season.

the only players we can appeal to are disgruntled unsettled players, feuding with their coach or club. and its hard to get a legit talented disgruntled unsettled player in this window. we made our bed we must lie in it....next time we'll learn that promoting competition is the way forward, NOT filling the bench with players still in diapers

Alexis Sanchez would be a relatively cheap and great solution... Icardi isn't coming in the winter. In fact, no Italian serie A team is going to betray their club in the middle of the season... not happening.

You have to take a player from a mid table team. Timo Werner maybe. Personally, I would take a chance on Balotelli.

the problem with that is, unless its a loan, you'll have another player on your books who you may or may not want; going into a summer with which you're going to make more additions.

unless you're signing said player on a loan (rare to find a legit solid loan option these days) or a player to stay only till the end of this season and any player with any thread of self respect won't sign such, unless they're coming from mls or south america.

alexis is a good option, BUT, i still feel zidane is worried about the bbc, and when all get back, he's worried about how to use alexis. i'm telling you they've blinded him. its amazing what we've achieved cos i ditched this bale benzema cristiano combo after decima when i felt we should have strongly bought suarez. oh well, its the way the cookie crumbles and we have to accept it.....we shot ourselves in the foot yet again....a constant at our club

These guys have good resale value... even if you buy and decide to sell very soon, you're not going to lose much if anything.

CL is in jeopardy. No time to mess around with the future in mind. The "now" is important.

Disgraceful performance. As usual.

The blame is on zidane and isn't at the same time. The chances are coming our way, we just can't finish. But it's zidanes fault for being stubborn and trusting the same players who keep letting him down.

Ronaldo is not far from benz in terms of being garbage btw. He's our version of Rooney but with a nice body. I'm positive Bale would be our best bet in that 9 spot with mayoral rotating so he doesn't get injured.

Kroos and Marcelo have been a disgrace. Players need to get dropped and fast. We'll see if zidane has the balls to drop CR, kroos, Marcelo, and arguably modric. Doubt it happens though.

well, all madrid fans who watch Castilla know Luca Zidane is awful. Bill, i heard he is out of contract this summer, so it looks like Zidane gave him a mercy game. He will leave this summer, and most likely will never return to play for us again.

one of the worst la liga campaign i have seen in a long time. It used to be that we would chase Barca who could not stop winning, usually staying within 6 points of them. And now, we gave this up in late october, they should be ashamed and get us that CL to make amends.

We were great in the first half. The subs sort of knocked us off rythm. I wouldn't worry about that. The line up is more of less set in stone for the Liverpool game

The league was already lost in mid-October, so really there's no need to get upset now.

However, the only way, and I truly mean the ONLY WAY, for Z to save his horrendous season is if he wins the CL. That's the last remaining major trophy we can still win and it's inconceivable to end up trophyless.

Got injured players? Don't fret! ZZ's got a ton of sons that he can vouch for. Gone are the days of spending money on established players for the bench cheers
