Who will progress ?
Re: UCL R16 : Real Madrid Vs Paris Saint-Germain
Lo Celso was a train wreck. Maquinhos and the whole backline not far behind.

True. He wasn't even mentally prepared for the game imo. Very very nervous.. No way anyone does that penalty foul when not overwhelmed by emotion when on yellow card.
Re: UCL R16 : Real Madrid Vs Paris Saint-Germain
Cavani and Benz playing a game of who was more invisible and Cavani actually won
Mbappe flop hard. He was trying to go for glory instead of serving up Nerman/Cavani. Will give me him a pass since he is young.
Won't even comment on Yuri and Lol Celso. Scrubs.

Mbappe was completely nullified until the last 2 minutes. I didn't even realize he was on the pitch.
Neymar was fantastic though, and RM were extremely lucky some of his chances didn't go in.

Well, it was going to be win-win for me anyway. Either a struggling Real Madrid were going to become even more bantalicious or PSG's Neymar & Mbappe hype was going to get shot down. Kinda glad it was the former.

A small thought for those Madrid " fans " who were secretly wishing for a loss just so that Zidane gets the boot.

is it luck though? Ultimately he failed to score. If Ronaldo had missed those he would have been called finished or choker.vanDEEZ wrote:Mbappe was completely nullified until the last 2 minutes. I didn't even realize he was on the pitch.

Neymar needs to score those if he wants that credit of being called the best. Right now he is missing those

Specially that last chance, Messi converts that instead of it ending up in row z.

Well, lucky for us that his teammates let him down and the refereeing went our way

Zidane's changes helped Madrid while Emery's lineup and changes made it worse. PSG could have had this.

I didn't want us to lose, but I wanted (and still do) Zidane gone.

Emery is an absolute twerp. You deserve to lose for such pussy tactics and game plan in general. If he doesn't make his team go all out attack in the second leg then he'll only cement his place as a major twerp.
Also, who the fook is Mbappe? This kid must be brutally overhyped or something because he was absolutely dreadful. Worst player on the pitch.

Also, what a player Neymar has become with his new found freedom at PSG. He was dribbling our players with insane ease and could've scored at least two goals had he taken his chances and stopped making unnecessary and flashy tricks.

You don't watch La Liga nor the French League? How could you even come to that conclusion?

Easy. He typed the words and out came a conclusion.
Glad for the win but there is an entire 2nd leg to play and PSG can very much still put Madrid to the sword. Not gonna get carried away in thinking we are home clear or PSG is out but it does make nice reading watching Barca fans around the net get annoyed that Madrid actually won a game.

such bottlers. only have themself to blame. were the better side in the second half and should have finished the game in that 25/30minute spell when they were dominant

Yeah, I wouldn't discredit Neymar's talent based on the supposed scrubs he faces in the french league. His speed, ball control and technique are all world class. He may have missed a few chances, but to be fair to him, they wouldn't have had many chances at all if it wasn't for his ability to drive the ball forward.

Still better than Dumbélé doe
Re: UCL R16 : Real Madrid Vs Paris Saint-Germain
Is anyone particularly surprised by this? Madrid has a team of champions, not surprising they would show up when it matters and saved Zinedine Matteo's job.
