Re: Arsenal Vs Dinamo Zagreb [Champions League]
Wouldn't underestimate Dinamo Zagreb or our ability to *bleep* it up. Ramsey could not possibly be ready with one training session, should be in the bench at best.
It should be between Flamini and Chambers. The latter is the much better option but Wenger will opt for experience I gather.
Maybe a narrow win here can help us get our season back on track. I won't cry over it if we don't tbh. Our league games are most important.

Re: Arsenal Vs Dinamo Zagreb [Champions League]
Well, if we don't win tomorrow then qualification for the knockouts is gone and frankly I'm not in the mood for another embarrassment against a team we should be beating. Whatever benefits there could be to not having European football to worry about, the last thing we need, with our recent results being as they were, is to not win tomorrow night.
With that said, I don't think Ramsey should play from the beginning and should just be an impact sub. I just have visions of him starting, playing for a short period then pulling his hamstring again.

I feel so disconnected with this game, and Arsenal in general right now.

Arsene Wenger is urging his side to ensure they remain in the Champions League, but says that if results didn’t go their way, the club would take the Europa League seriously.

The result dont really matter to me, cant lose key players with long term injuries every other game.
Dont risk Ramsey and if we have to use and Injured player to win the game, then we dont even deserve Europe league.

Mert is a strange one. He is class no doubt, but sometimes he just makes poor decisions.
Gabriel so far this season hasn't put a foot wrong when he has been on the pitch.

Re: Arsenal Vs Dinamo Zagreb [Champions League]
I don't think so. He had a stinker recently - don't remember which game it was. Sheffield? Or was it when he stepped up needlessly against Bayern for the opening goal? He's a very good CB, but to say he's faultless is far from reality.

Some day, fans will realize that defense is more about a team defending as a unit than individuals making mistakes when they're left exposed.

Re: Arsenal Vs Dinamo Zagreb [Champions League]
Would prefer you stay in it tbh.
You might trouble some big team in 1/16th more than Olympiakos, while I'd be happy to face you afterwards.
We'll do our part, don't mess up.

Re: Arsenal Vs Dinamo Zagreb [Champions League]
I would like that. It's *why* you want to be in CL instead of playing Thursday nights in Kazhakstan.
I wish Alexis stops trying to dribble the ball into the net. Should have had 3 shots till now - one of which would have been a goal. Ffs.

Props to Giroud for dragging the CB away.
Props to Alexis for not trying to dribble into the goal himself, for a change.

It's almost like Mesut is the only player Alexis trusts enough to pass to.

Re: Arsenal Vs Dinamo Zagreb [Champions League]
A rare, relaxing and easy night of football. I think we'd all appreciate a few more of these.
Once we got the first we were very comfortable. After the third we just defended with six or seven players and left Alexis, Ozil and Campbell up to menace them on the counter, and really should have put a few more in. But oh well.
Ozil, Alexis and Campbell each had fantastic games.
Only disappointments tonight was Reine-Adelaide not coming on and Alexis playing 90 minutes even though it was the perfect chance to take him off and give him a bit of a breather.
That win now means we can't finish lower than 3rd in the group, so should we not beat Olympiakos by two goals, we will most definitely be in the Europa League.

Re: Arsenal Vs Dinamo Zagreb [Champions League]
Supremely impressed with Campbell tonight. Maybe he does have what it takes to make it here after all. Showed tremendous vision to find Alexis for the third goal, well executed and it was no fluke as he was dangerous from anywhere he could angle a pass with his left foot from.
Özil and Alexis have formed the understanding we all dreamed they would, really FIFAesque at times.
Could have been 7-0 tonight.
Chambers was horrendous in his DM cameo.
