i'm hoping Lucas is selected over Jese because he is a natural RW whereas Jese is natural LW? I sure hope Benitez doesn't have something against Jese, particularly after his play on the weekend. That was the first sign we have seen of the old Jese. Maybe a poster (can't recall who said it) was right when he said Jese doesn't play well at LB nor CF.

Despite injuries and everything else we played really well and dominated them for the majority of the match. We created the better chances and we were very well organized and a joy to watch.

Jesé played decent and I didn't understand why he was subbed for Denis.

Anyway, definitely the best match footballing-wise in the CL group stages so far this year.

What are you on about? Ronaldo was pretty good . only when cheryshev came in we became disoriented.

Very good game. The subs were a bit pointless. Dont know what role Modrc played and Denis was dissapointing.

Subbing Isco and jese killed off our attack, can't complain though given our bench.

This is why I don't like Benitez sometimes - his nonsensical subbing. He removes Isco and Jesé and bring in Denis? He killed us instantly, offensively and defensively.

He threw his arm when Denis cheryshev skied a great counter from an impossible angle. Even bentez was furious with that.Apart from that I didn't notice any. Let's call a spade a spade.

This is why I wasn't that fussed about PSG. (Plus, Sports has a tendency to go overboard with any France, which is to be expected).

Regarding Denis, I think we should cut him break. His cameo appearance was terrible, but he hasn't really had sufficient playing time to get into a rhythm and to throw him into a game of that magnitude? I won't really critique his performance.
