I'd have to disagree. He's the only reason we got this far in the CL this season, with 5 goals- including 3 against Tottenham (and a missed sitter + a missed pen but we don't talk about this). We've been absolutely dire in the CL this season. Dybala's only goal was the winner against Tottenham, him getting sent off against Real is symbolic of his CL campaign. Through the group stage, he was statistically the worst player in Europe with 30+ shots and no goals (literally).

Higuain scored the winner away to Napoli, which was one of our marquee matches in Serie A.

Last season, he was our MVP, as named by the fans/club, he's the only reason we retained the scudetto and was important in our league double and CL run.

Now, I wouldn't be opposed to selling him because after our loss with Real I feel like radical changes are necessary. This season was a clear step backwards and we have to now look forward as a club, but to blame any part of on Higuain is not something I would endorse. Dybala has cucked us far more, for example.

Great against spurs so can't call him out on the whole, but yes in these games he's not fast enough or technical enough to really beat his man, he's not quick enough to get on the end of balls in behind without timing his run to perfection, and he offers less than any striker of any height I've ever seen in the air so lumping a cross into him is pointless.



In short, he offers nothing in games where there is no opportunity to poach.


Wouldn't miss him. He won us the league last season, he's done OK this season but he's not good enough as the #9 in a 4-3-3 as of yet, and 2 striker formations are dead in the water.

The other was a tame shot from outside the area

He kind of has a thankless job on this team but even for what he does, it wasn't special in either of these two matches which is quite the contrast from his great showing against Tottenham

I actually think Argentina was better with him in attack , he is better than Aguero at phyisical play and in the air. Anyway i do think Sampaoli should have brought Icardi and test him.

Messi scored 1 goal from 13 attempts but Nick is picking on Higuain. Lots of forwards was missing that chance, lots, including his GOATness Ronaldo. Also, he played well in my eyes. The real blame should go to Mascherano, that dunce is the one that caused the PK.

I don't really get why people are criticising Higuain tbh.

He was very good, sure he missed his only real chance but his movement, work rate was excellent.

The only starters from midfield and attack who I'd criticise is Enzo Perez and Mascherano as both were utterly shite.
