Doesnt seem like we can do it yet but probably in 6 months or so

If you can also investigate why fullscreen is an issue then that'd be helpful. Doesn't seem like its a GL issue but a browser one

Yeah. I think it also might be a problem of the add-ons one has installed. I have Adblock+ and NoScript, so I always have to check what exactly I need to allow to make things work.
I just added another tweet above with just a pic - it works when you delete the emojis from the link source, then it shows up and it even shows the emojis in the original tweet nonethless.

As for the fullscreen thing - the normal picture shows up fine in fullscreen.
The video part seems to be a problem. The videos don't show in Opera either, by the way - or rather a preview still pic shows, but there it a message that the browser doesn't support replaying videos from twitter.
For Firefox, I also got that "video replay at twitter isn't supported" earlier, so it is obviously a browser problem with twitter links and not a general problem of the forum. I guess I should check if I can get a newer stable firefox version (I currently have some developer's version)
