Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga
Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi's sale of Parma to a Russian-Cypriot conglomerate is to be formally announced today.
The businessman's sale of the Italian club had already been announced last week and the completion of the deal is now imminent.
According to La Gazzetta di Parma, Ghirardi met with the new buyers yesterday evening to iron out the last details and is moments from signing the new deal.
The names of the new owners had so far been kept secret, with no details revealed, apart from their nationalities. Their identity will be revealed before the end of the day.

Read in another article debts amounted to 45m euros. So he's paying 50m euros in actuality while covering the debt in the process.

Anyway Ghirardi couldn't wait to sell Parma ... He would have done it also for first offer

Allegri's twitter.
I remember thinking that the selfie is most likely his first time taking one.
Nothing beat his random trip to Kazakhstan to which even he looked confused about in the pics, to which seem to have been deleted by the way.
His random tweets also are a highlight, as he seems to write English well.
And "fiuuu"

By following the debate that has been going on since Conte became the CT, I think he might become the man who brought in a modern identity to Calcio. Kind of like what Klinsman is to German fotball today. I am loving it.

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga
I don't think Conte's made any unreasonable demands as the coach of the national team and yet he's barely been acknowledged by those in charge of the league and teams so sadly I find it hard to believe that he'll be able to affect the change needed. It's sad as even though I can't stand his obsession with the 3-5-2, there are certain other facets of his game that I admire and his call ups have been both fair and open minded, unlike Prandelli. He's in a position of limited influence and sadly whilst the same old hacks jump on and off the managerial merry go round, little is expected to change. It's not just the teams that need new blood but managements and coaches.

Meh... Conte is just a witty wanker who "wants to improve the situation in Italy".

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga
i hope after all this Garcia quits being a whining little b*tch and stop complaining everyday about "Juve this, Juve that"
I like Roma and appreciate Garcia's wonderful work in making Roma a strong team in Serie a, but he should learn to see that they are miles behind Juve, maybe if he learns that instead of his constant b*tching Roma might be champs in the coming years......

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga
I disagree honestly, Elm. We were very much off the pace with Conte's Juve, but Allegri's Juve? The only thing separating these sides is the finishing. Juve are better at it when it matters. Simply put.
Roma are far closer to Juve than you give them credit for.
As for this Milan match....that was dire stuff. Lotta Romanisti bemoaning Rizzoli and his decisions, but the lack of finishing is brutal right now and that's what cost us the win. That's what's killing our form in general. A more ruthless attack would've kept us in the CL and well above Juve, who have been generous to us with their slip ups.
1 pointed earned by Milan and 2 very much dropped by Roma....again...*sigh*

I think Allegri's Juve will be miles better than Conte's Juve in terms of tactics, attacking, possession he just started using his formation give allegri some time and the team to get used to his tactics he is a lot better than given credit for. I to think that Juve are a little better than Roma but not much ahead

I guess you are right and I misstated the difference between both clubs, I think Roma are more closer to us this season than last season, but I feel Roma will slip up more than we will which will "gift" us the trophy this year, as under Allegri we are bound to slip a few more times (just cos we are in a new phase)
my only problem is Garcia's continuous complaints, maybe its just his way to take pressure off Roma and divert it towards Juve, I just feel its unwarranted.....

Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga
So how's inter doing in this league? Didn't they like win 4 times in a row several years ago? And now they are shit?
The teams that where shit while inter were good must be having so much fun now that that inter is shit and that they know they are not inter. It must be like waking up from a bad dream and realizing that you arent Fred Durst

considering Inter's "good times" were as a result if their created Calciopoli and their success a result of Juve and Milan being down for a couple of years, may I humbly ask when you started watching Serie A....
if you ask me, Inter are more back to where they belong than anything else...

I started watching Serie a one time when I was getting pizza in a resturant in New Jersey near red bull arena. And that's where my knowledge of Serie a starts and ends
