Hopefully his recovery goes well and he recovers quickly. However on the bright side we have Varane available who is our best CB.

except he hasnt been our best defender this season, pepe has.

not to mention he has been making some pretty bad mistakes since his injury tbh

Pepe has made mistakes as well this season. He always makes mistakes in big games where teams counter-attack and attack directly. Atletico will play directly and fast paced against us and will look to hit us on the counter.

Against Barca/Bayern he had it easy because they had 0 penetration and he just had to defend occasionally.

Varane is more composed and rarely make glaring mistakes.
