i like having him as a second striker just because of his good positioning and creativity,other than that hes useless,I hope they change it in fifa12

That's my point, i feel like i didnt make myself clear enough in the OP.

Di Maria isnt a natural CM, but i have seen instances of him being used as such on few occasions, with Mourinho, Argentina (maradona and batista) and as you confirm, Benfica.

I'm not suggesting that we should go ahead and have him play as Cm from now on, he isnt one, im not expecting to see Gerrard; Im not saying, let's have him pair up Alonso in the double pivot, that would be disastrous, im merely pointing something i see happening. a way coaches seem to be using him on the field.
