It's all politics.

He picked based on CL trophies. He said it is complicated, debated between Puskas, Ronaldo, Zidane and Ramos. All of these guys were instrumental in the CL trophies we have won. Afterwards the Mexican announcer pushed him to include himself as well made a case for the mexican Sanchez.

Like it or not, these players mentioned including Puskas were team leaders and instrumental in CL victories, whereas the names not discussed (but on the Mexican list), Sanchez and Butrageno were not in case of CL.

thing with lists is, there's really no criteria, you pick a player today, tomorrow you ask the same question and another could be picked, tougher if you haven't watched all the players play in their primes....the only thing that would have been crazy was if di stefano wasn't first; whether or not anyone has seen him play....as a madrid fan, that's law and shouldn't change. 2,3,4,5 is all subjective...its not as if he put someone like say arbeloa for example on his top 5.....even though i know there are people on here who want to grant arbeloa legendary status lol

i never rate how nice the kits look only until after the season ends. its weird but the success or lack thereof during the season dictates my appreciation for the kits....unless its some color or design i'm not just used to, for example if we ever wore a striped kit, that wouldn't work for me at all.....or the red away strip we had some years back, i wasn't used to it. don't care for the pink either

that said, i welcome these new uniforms as i can't wait to forget about this season's kit

On first glance it looks pretty boring and bad.

There is a real life picture of the kit on reddit and it doesn't look any better.

I should probably reserve judgement though, it always looks different online.
