Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
He clearly has.... he conceded like 6 goals before that concussion lol.
Your hate blinds you as always, idiotic to suggest it hasn't had an impact.

Gutted for Lloris. Great keeper, hopefully shakes of the effects of that concussion soon.

My decision to transfer Sturridge out for Roonay last week looks better by the hour

Is there a more injury-prone player than Sturridge? He always seems to pick up injuries every couple of weeks.

Paulinho is good in inputs on offensive side, he usually scores so, but if if you omit this ...he's absolutely a normal player

Or maybe because Spurs faced scrubs before the City game? Arsenal went on the defensive once they got into lead during NLD and Chelsea as usual came to WHL with a draw in mind.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:He clearly has.... he conceded like 6 goals before that concussion lol.

Mole, dude, you're wrong.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:What would Defoe offer which Soldado doesn't? there is zero service and Defoe doesn't offer anything extra outside the box.
Defoe is better at link-up play and making early runs and also at long-range shooting. Soldado is more of a world-class poacher who can also sniff out crosses. The latter method hasn't been working out.

Chiriches is Spurs's best defender. No surprise that they conceded 6 goals when he didn't play.

Arsenal would have won by a much higher margin had it not been for Lloris who had a brilliant game.ExtremistEnigma wrote:Or maybe because Spurs faced scrubs before the City game? Manchester City vs Swansea and Chelsea vs Southampton at the same time.
Why is not one of these games played at 15:05 instead of Hull City?

^^ Too true. Rooney atm is displaying why he's a world class talent by carrying the bunch of average that surrounds him. We'd be bottom half without his assists and goals.
Dropped points. Can only hope now that Hull beat Liverpool. Would make a somewhat frustrating mood of mine much better.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
Back when there were rumblings early last summer that Arsenal might bid for Rooney, a lot of people seemed totally willing to give up on him as being completely "past it." A guy who was 27 at the time! (Some people were dismissing Kun Aguero too, as a one-season wonder. Crazy!) But clearly he's recovered form this season and showing why he's simply one of the elite strikers in the PL and the world.
Anyway how was the Spurs-United match, quality-wise? It came on at the crack of dawn in my time zone so I didn't bother getting up for it. But if it was a fun game I'd love to give it a bit of a gloat watch later.

I'm not a goalkeeping expert but something I notice quite often with De Gea is the amount of times he doesn't react at all to some shots from outside the box. Seems a bit strange.M99 wrote:http://giant.gfycat.com/TintedUnfortunateBrant.gif

Yeah, but this one was actually unstoppable. Hit the side netting.futbol wrote:I'm not a goalkeeping expert but something I notice quite often with De Gea is the amount of times he doesn't react at all to some shots from outside the box.
