Ozil to own the EPL?
OMG! That wet my pants. He made it look so simple and easy, thats always sign of a great player, when they do effective and difficult things that wins games like that easily.
I think hes going to lift Arsenal to another level in the attacking side. Overall though is still to be seen. But with him at Arsenal doing things like this just now, I would like to watch them again. Although the game going on now and their defense still look like a joke But thats another topic.
Ozil Ozil Ozil! Fast becoming another favourite player of mine.
What do you think?

If Arsene gets a DM(Gonalons) and Suarez, they are legit CL contenders IMO.

Re: Ozil to own the EPL?
We won't get Suarez. Ozil is going to make Giroud looking WC (if he take his chances). Giroud + Back up Podolski is well enough for old man Wenger

Re: Ozil to own the EPL?
Practically raped Sunderland in the first half.Assisted Giroud for the first and could have assisted at least a goal or two for Walcott if he wasn't so toothless in front of goal today.
His second half performance wasn't up to scratch though, probably down to stamina problems and/or just because Sunderland notched up a gear and actually tried playing football.
Still, his way of adjusting to his new environment was surprising.
I think we can all expect great things from him this season going by today's performance.

Didn't put him on my fantasy team because I didn't know if he would start due to the reports of illness. I am suffering

Walcott could have had a (legit) hat-trick from Ozil's assists today

Re: Ozil to own the EPL?
Im not totally sure, but since Real played esstentially a fast counter attacking game, his fast runs, technique and final pass often cut open defenses. But the as the game wore on, Sunderland started defending in numbers well and he didnt make as much as impact as his did early on.
One thing that really makes him great to watch is the reading of the game, he just changes direction or pace of the game in a split game and able to do something unpredictable on a regular basis.
Was also impressed with Wilshere and Ramsey a lot. Giroud looks slow as ever but his liking play and finishing will be vital this season.
Whats happened with Cazorla? Cant wait to see him with Ozil. Same goes with Rosicky.
