Got rid of deadwood so quickly.
Signed one of the best players in the world.
And some free transfers.
Not signing a striker will expose our depth and cost us the title.

We started out needing a CF and a CM. We mostly got that. But losing Lukaku late on + adding Willian wasn't the best business.
We certainly could have done better but overall, I am not complaining.

lost Abidal, Thiago, going to lose Valdes, Puyol is practically not even a bench player.
and we only bought Neymar...
our priorities aren't really in check.

Re: Are you happy with your club's transfer activities so far?
7/10.
Could end up being a 9/10 window depending on how Eto'o performs.
Didn't see the need to sign both Willian AND Schurrle but I guess we'll see how it plays out this season.
Happy with the Van Ginkel signing though. Under the radar young midfielder with a really high ceiling.
EDIT: 6/10. Just remembered the Lukaku loan. Made no fcking sense!

Losing Lukaku makes it impossible to go passed 6-7/10. If we signed a top class DM it'd be 7/10.Blue Barrett wrote:7/10.

I'd go with 9/10. A midfielder in the Eriksen mould would've made it 10.

Needed a quality attacker but only got Moses. Otherwise we've strengthened immensely on defense, GK, and added some much needed depth. I'm confident going into this season.
All of the players Liverpool let go were all god awful lol

+ Got rid of Osvaldo
+ Offloaded some rubbish
+ Signed Strootman
+ Maicon looks like a beast
+ Signed Benatia, one the best defenders in Serie A
+/- Ljajic replaced Lamela
+/- Gervinho could work under Garcia
+/- De Santcis is a one season thing
+/- Unproven Jedvaj
- Osvaldo wasnt replaced
- Boriello returned
- Castan should not be our starting CB
- Didnt sign a quality LB
- We will still rely on Totti for almost everything
- Owners think that money is more important than success or players

I would have said 8/10 without yesterday. But what's done is done, so I give 6/10.

Re: Are you happy with your club's transfer activities so far?
Yes, we bought two great centerbacks, replaced our goalkeepers for next season - made sure we replace Xavi, made sure we replace Thiago, sold Alba for a better defending winger

Re: Are you happy with your club's transfer activities so far?
In terms of Liverpool, they fixed a lot of the problems overall in the team, however they never really upgraded the attack.
A WC winger or AM could have been bought.

Let thiago go,selling villa cheap to liga rival,No defensive reinforcement and not to mention Let Abidal go for free.
Only positive we bought Neymar other wise it could have easily become -10(Minus 10)/10.Not even worth 0/10

Re: Are you happy with your club's transfer activities so far?
I wondered how much depth do Roma have, so i came up with this:
XI no 1
De Santic
Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Balzaretti
Pjanic, DDR, Strootman
Florenzi, Totti, Ljajic
XI no 2
Lobont
Torosidis, Burdisso, Jedvaj, Dodo
Taddei, Bradley, Marquinho
Gervinho, Boriello, Destro
So not much But not too bad either.
