Who got the better deal?
Juve got Carlitos for 12mil. He's 29 but has disciplinary issues.
Arsenal will probably get Hinuain for approx 22mil. He's younger.

Re: Who got the better deal?
Arsenal easily.
Juventus went for the inferior cheap option once again like they did when they backed out of Aguero deal and got Vucinic.
Obviously they still win Serie A as no one comes close Tevez or no Tevez but they are not impacting CL until they stop being so stubborn.

Definitely Arsenal, that's if it's 22m though. If it is 22m, then it's just 10m more for a younger player who's better currently.

Re: Who got the better deal?
Well apparantly Madrid wanted 30M
Also, Mole
Dat Carlos hate is unhealthy brah.
Juventus are already capable of making an impact on Europe. Considering we got K.O'd by the champions.
How far you get in the CL depends on the draw.
If you ask me Llorente - Tev is nothing to be laughed at.

Last season PSG signed a 30 years old Ibrahimovic with worse attitude issues than Tevez for 20 million euros and 14 millions salary and everybody went nuts.
We sign Tevez for 12 millions, he sucks.

Re: Who got the better deal?
regarding that 12m Tevez signing means Jovetic deal is still on...i'd say we got the better deal.
should we have payed 25-30m for Higuain..Jovetic deal would be gone.
if we only consider Tevez(12)-Higuain(22) of course Arsenal got it better..but not by much.
but i don't see it. they will pay at least 25 to Real Madrid.

I don't hate brah.... i'm just one of the few who bases my opinion on the now and not the past and how big a name someone has in the game.
As said before if you signed 2 years ago fair enough.... but he's nowhere near that player nowadays.

Aren't they both top class strikers of the same age group ?
Haven't they both won titles and huge contracts ?
I'm not comparing playing styles mate...

Both deals are good in their own aspect tbh.
If I had to pick one, I'd go with Juventus.

I agree. Only Vucinic's fitness issues can make it easier for Llorente otherwise if he stays fit, it's going to be tough for Llorente.

Re: Who got the better deal?
i wouldn't worry that much...Conte rotates the strikers regardless of their form...better said depending on the rival team's defence and formation.
all of Tevez, Llorente, Vucinic and Giovinco will get their playing time if they do well enough to adjust and impress in training.
Matri and Quags are on their way out

Re: Who got the better deal?
I think Vucinic is pretty underrated here, there's no need to spend 25 million pounds on Juvetic when there are 3 pretty good options already there in Vucinic, Llorente and Tevez. Plus the 4th option in Giovinco/Quagliarella/whoever stays is just enough imo even for a good run in the CL.

Re: Who got the better deal?
The problem is Vucinic is best at creating, he's not a consistent finisher. Which is fine so long as he's partnered with a goal scoring machine. But he hasn't been and the burden of goals falls on him too.

Re: Who got the better deal?
lol that hate, Juve is not in dire need of a #9, we got LLORENTE, and considering we are paying him highly we wouldn't want him on the bench. I consider Higuain to be slightly better than Llorente when both are on form, we obviously wanna offer him a chance first before deciding if we need a better #9 or not,
what we have lacked is a creative striker who can create and score and is lethal at that as well, which Vucinic has failed to do and so has Giovinco, Matri (ship him to el Salvador already), and Quagliarella after his injury has never been his former self..... and due to his age, the time is right to sell him now or never...
with the Tevez price, I think it still keeps us in the race for Jovetic,
now what some people are not saying is how Madrid only drove Higuain's price to 30m because Juve refused to sell them either Vidal or Pogba or include any of the two in the deal....
had Madrid been interested in any key Arsenal player, am sure they would have enjoyed making life hard for Arsenal in their Higuain pursuit....

Re: Who got the better deal?
Tevez won countless games for his teams too.
Anyway, my intentions are not to compare Ibrahimovic and Tevez as players. You're leading it into a topic I had no intention to open. I was comparing two top strikers with similarities in their troublesome characters that are in the same age group. Except if you believe that Tevez is not a top name. If you do then I understand why you argue.

Re: Who got the better deal?
I honestly don't even rate Higuain at 12mil. What does he do? He doesn't create, He tries his hardest to be a fox in the box but misses some wide open chances, and HE MUST have service. If you want to counter my point he his like Inzaghi, I'd tell you that's a lie. Inzaghi would stretch teams by playing on their last defenders heels and get behind the defense, he would score anything in the box, and was a lot smarter than Higuain. All Higuain does is tries to use his speed to get past players. Tevez on the other hand can create, he is smart, and scores goals at the same time. Juventus got an overall better footballer.
