You really think Mou won't leave Doc? I read Ozil would hand in a transfer request if he stayed Sad

Suarez or Rooney to Bayern

Cavani to Madrid

We want Sakho but i really really don't think we are capable of beating out the teams that are interested.

Also is Sports the only Madrid fan who doesn't want Aguero lol?

Plus they desperately need a alternative/long term replacement to Carrick.

I wouldn't be so quick with that, we have been linked with Strootman for the past 3 summers, also Van Bommel told him about his time at Milan and about our wonderful club. He even called Galliani and put in a good word about him

We'll just have to wait and see I guess

I like Cavani a lot more than Aguero... Cavani is a physical beast and will bring an intimidation factor and speed into the CF role. He actually has a semblance of an air game too.

yes Mole, Cavani is trash. Kun brings to madrid a whole new dimension as a player. Expert in small areas, one more player that can make the difference individually, very good thing. It's a good thing Cavani is nowhere near the top of our list.

what indimidation? what speed? he cant even control the ball.

Rebs, it's just a gut feeling that he wouldn't leave or get fired. If he does, well, so be it but as I said, just a gut feeling.

You do realise Juventus aren't poor right? Laughing

We just don't get sugardaddy bankrolled to spend 120M on a couple of new big names every season or two.

I've watched Cavani for years now. In fact, i think i was the one who brought him to the Madrid message board's attention 3+ years ago.

What's intimidating about him? He's strong, fast and goes full tilt at you. Defenders are forced to play on their heels. Going three straight years with 20+ goals in serie is absolutely no joke. It's not like he's playing on a team that has top talent all around him either. In his last 98 Serie A games, he's scored 71 goals. In Europe? 17 goals in 25 games.

I love him. He's better than both Falcao and Aguero. Consistent every year for the past 3 years in every competition for Napoli.

Is Vela still on Arsenal's books or is it like a buy back clause because I wouldn't be surprised said club calls for his services again.

Also, Aguero is strong, quick and would also keep defenders on their heels. Unless by intimidating, you mean his size...

Aguero is a finesse CF. He tries to trick you. He's no threat in the air and nothing about his style is based on strength. Cavani muscles you and attacks you with pace.

Cavani reminds me of Batistuta.

Each has his style, each can have the same effectiveness but i am more interested in a player that adds a dimension to our game on possession. not to mention that Aguero would associate a lot better with CR.

Arsenal has a buy back and gets 50% if he is sold. Vela is not suited for EPL and I think Arsenal know that.Vela is much more comfortable in a league were they actually play football.

Madrid need a box presence at CF and that can also go out with speed on counter attacks. Check and check with Cavani. Aguero is not and never will be a box presence. That's our biggest weakness right now... none of our CFs are terrors in the box.

We don't need another guy who needs to ball at his feet. We already have Ozil, Modric, Di Maria, CR7 and Marcelo for that. It's already a cluster frak at the edge of the box.

our box presence is CR crashing the box from the left. when he does that, the CF needs to be skilled enough to play around him and be skillful doing that. If we had traditional wing play like bayern, then yeah sure, i would agree with you. the bottom line is that when we play in europe, teams go defensive on us, and i would rather have Aguero on my side when Utd are parking the bus on us, than Cavani tussling with Vidic with that garbage first touch of his. we can get box presence with michu if we want, that's not expensive.
