Re: Zaragoza vs Real Madrid discussion
I can see an upset on the cards, Real Madrid has an important Champions league match on Tuesday and the players may not have fully recovered from the international break, plus there'll be some rotation.
My squad is
Lopez
Essien - Varane - Ramos - Marcelo
Khedira - Alonso
Callejon - Ozil - Ronaldo
Morata

Re: Zaragoza vs Real Madrid discussion
isn't it great to see our team with no injuries??? when was the last time that happened??
many of our team players participated in intense WC qualifiers so I think they should be rested
my ideal line up would be
Lopez
Essien-Varane-Ramos-Marcelo
Modric-Pepe
Callegoat-Kaka-Ronaldo
Higuain
I pretty sure that would be our lineup. Just sub out Ronaldo and Higuain early and I am fine with this line up
as for the score prediction......zaragoza have proven to be pretty tough at home AND couple that with the relegation battle and this game will be very hard for us...just get a draw and I am fine with that
it would be pretty interesting to see if Iker gets called up and who will start if he does

Re: Zaragoza vs Real Madrid discussion
Zaragoza have everything to play for, we on the other hand have nothing to play for, that seems like a good recipe for an upset. Having said that we always do well after international breaks so I think we'll manage to win

Apparently Varane has a back problem. He could miss the game against Galatasaray too.

Re: Zaragoza vs Real Madrid discussion
Good finish from Ronaldo. Not the best first half though overall. Sloppy passing and poor defending. Alonso should come on since we need to control the midfield more.

Should have won that game.
We created a lot of chances, however our finishing was poor.

Re: Zaragoza vs Real Madrid discussion
terrible game.....Ronaldo missing sitters as usual, Marcelo hitting the post and a waste of half
essien and modric can't play together...both of them take an eternity to pass
and gosh higuain was offside like every second ffs

Re: Zaragoza vs Real Madrid discussion
Terrible game, Di Maria was at it again, he tries too hard and ends up wasting too much possession, Higuain is simply not good enough to win the Champions league with, I hope Benzema starts against Galatasary. It's also fair to say that Coentrao is a lot better than Marcelo, he looked out of form again. Modric had another great game I hope he starts against Galatasary. I'd go with
Lopez
Ramos - Varane - Pepe - Coentrao
Alonso - Khedira
Ozil - Modric - Ronaldo
Benzema.

Re: Zaragoza vs Real Madrid discussion
I'd play Coentrao away but Marcelo at home vs Galaastaray.
Marcelo was shit defensively today but he was a great attacking outlet, he did create a fair amount of chances.
I'm sure we would have won this if Higuain was on his grind today. Marcelo still should have scored that chance in the 2nd half though.
Lopez was fantastic as usual, it would be a shame to bench him now just becouse Iker is back. For me he is the better GK right now.
