Funnily enough, the one big NT they defeated away from home during the golden era was France hmm

kept trying to make a thread but it glitched out or something, weird.

anyway, this will probably get buried now but how many will benzema put past valdes? to silence his haters, poetic justice etc.

Anyone know the supposed line ups ?

Probably going to watch this, that way i can rage at Cabaye getting injured during the game on the fly instead of 2 hours afterwards.

Silva is suspended and Alba injured. Xavi and Xabi will most likely be back. I would guess:

Villa
Iniesta Xavi Pedro
Alonso Busquets
Monreal Ramos Pique Arbeloa
Valdes

Barca + Ramos vs. France. Proud

Ribery vs. Arbelol. Proud

Lloris
Fanni-Varane-Sakho-Evra
Pogba-Cabaye-Matuidi
Valbuena-Benzema-Ribery

That's how i see it.

Around the 60 min mark.... if France is ahead, Gonalons for Cabaye. If france is behind, Giroud for either Pogba or Cabaye depending on who is playing better + Jallet for Fanni. Sissoko will come in for someone late too.

Trivial stuff but Spanish medias are reporting a little rift in the spanish squad between Alonso+Arbeloa vs the rest. Ramos is becoming best pal with Busquets Laughing, and the barca group are chill with ramos; so without Xavi or Casillas, the atmosphere in the spanish squad is not the best,

Ramos. He wants to come to Barca badly. His interview where he basically said he wants to replace Alonso at Madrid with Busquets because Alonso is getting on a bit. Proud Shat on Alonso right there. Proud

Alonso has already said he won't be renewing his contract ages ago so that has probably something to do with it

It's not a secret that people at Madrid like Busquets a lot and if given an opportunity will snatch him up.

The last thing that Ramos would do is going to Barca.

I like that spine, very Juve like midfield in terms of style of players and the left hand side is very good.

Jallet and Valbuena ruins it though Sad

Really interesting because I doubt he would play for Madrid.

Spain look average against Finland. I see France nicking this one but it all depends on Benzema will he show up for this game?

If Alonso and arbeloa are bitching then IMO both should be benched it's not like they are crucial to this team. smoking

The Spanish players seem convinced that France won't park the bus against them like Finland did. I'm not sure why they're so confident in that, I can totally see France parking the bus.

I like it. Sakho is a bit too aggressive and gets caught... not the best attribute against the Spanish small guys. But Kos worries me in that he always makes a massive brain fart in big games. He beasts... then his brain shuts down on a play. Hope i'm wrong. He's been in great form with Arsenal the past 2 weeks.

Also, this is Benz' last chance to show something methinks. If he fails again, i think the CF spot opens up for Giroud to jump into in the 433. But i do think we play the 4411 that you saw against Georgia against the teams we can handle with Benz-Giroud on the attack together.

Jallet is a disaster however lol. he's about 5 levels below both Sagna and Debuchy. I was hoping for Fanni. At least, he can play defense.

I mean what the point of Jallet attacking when the trio that would get his centering balls are Benz, Ribery and Valbuena lol. That's the shattiest air attack you can imagine.
