WOW! What a performance by the whole team. This is what we want to see.Hope you play like this against Man Ure.
Di Maria
Ronaldo
Ozil
Khediria
Higuian
Valencia have been awful, they need a better back up RB as Ricardo Costa just can't play there.Whenever I see him he is garbage, absolutely awful performance by him today.

Worms, aren't you a Barca fan?
Anyway, only reason we were so dominant in the first half was becouse how sloppy Valencia's passing was. All of our goals came from them passing the ball to us in dangerous areas.
Still, a great performance by Ronaldo, Özil and Khedira. And we were clinical. That's what we need vs. Man U becouse I don't see RvP missing chances.

Yes but I want Madrid to beat United in CL and the league is over anyway so I wanted you to start playing well.
Valencia played much better in the 2nd half,I don't think it's a coincidence that they played much better once they played Barragan at RB and Costa moved back to his proper position CB.

Re: Valencia vs Real Madrid discussion
Nice to see the team trash the loud mouth Valencia once again. Great team work, we could easily have been 6 or 7 goals up in the first half, Higuain and Khedira missed some absolute sitters.
I liked Di Maria tonight he was unplayable, MOM for me. Ozil and Ronaldo deserve a shoutout too, the two were fantastic. The jury is still out on Higuain though, I wasn't too impressed with his output. I can see Benzema replacing him in the CDR second leg.
Albiol was surprisingly good today, Varane was solid as usual, as was the rest of the defence. The second half was all cruise control, saving energy for the next battle, I can see us trashing them again on Wednesday.

Re: Valencia vs Real Madrid discussion
There was a 10 minute period between the 2nd and 5th goal where we hit a level we hadn't achieved for the the season up to this point. We were doing this weekly last season, just devouring teams, everyone timing every pass to perfection. Take for example Ronaldo's goal.
Di Maria volleys a ball across the face of goal to Ozil who just taps it right into Ronaldo's path. We have been missing for that sort of timing this season.
I feel obliged to point out that the sole reason we kept a clean sheet today is because on every set piece two men were stationed on the posts. Why it has taken 5 months and an effectively failed La Liga campaign to make this relatively rudimentary adjustment is a question which is should be raised.I believe has this issue been addressed earlier we would be in a competitive position in the league.

Simply Wonderful.
Were Di Maria & CR7 swapping on left & right flanks?

Merengues annihilated Los Che....
Statement game from Mourinho to the fans.... Hopefully we keep this for going.
Di Maria my mans.... I knew he'd get out of the slump.
Raphael Varane is special... I love this kid.

Yep... They usually do anyway. Di Maria is a hustler!

Glad they did. I know they do But when they don't RM doesn't create as many chances. DiMaria is a better player on the left. I hope they keep swapping.

I won't say it was the sole reason we can't a clean sheet but goddamn you are RIGHT. How long does it take someone to realize this shite ffs?
It felt so good watching as play well, man I've missed it.

Re: Valencia vs Real Madrid discussion
this was such a good performance by everyone. everybody tracking back going in for the fifty fifty wiyh intent of winning the ball back and counter as we saw for ronaldos first goal yhis is what we used to do last season press counter press counter. it was beautiful.
khedira needs to work on his finishing man. if he does we willnhave another scoring outlet from him. his runs are amazing but he is always unlucky infront of goal. I am confident he will come good in that regard eventually.
compare this game to the copa in midweek did anyone see soldado during the whole game? I didnt valencia missed pereira dearly their right flank was nonexistent both forwards and backwards. great great game
hope they turn in this kind of performance this Wednesday. good to see everybody getting back into form now before our tough schedule ahead. I am secretely hoping malaga eliminate barca because if they dont we will play barca, sevilla, barca, man u and barca thats one hell of a run of games

Re: Valencia vs Real Madrid discussion
For the first time in a long long time i see Ozil play like he plays for germany (WC). Absolutely Outstanding performance by him. Every times he talks to the media, he makes a point to perform at his best.
Nice to see di maria rapping the defenders too, he was more composed today. So was ronaldo, both speed demons were great.
I would like to point out how great Albiol has been since his run, not just him, the whole backline of Arbeloa, Alibol, Varane and Coentrao has been extremely great, very deciplined unlike our usual stuff.
