Khedira, Alonso, Marcelo and Ozil. These four are so important to Madrid being successful.

If they are not playing or not playing well, the team is so poor.

looks as though we really need to revisit this carvajal issue. and a back up left back as well. Arbeloa was lost, should have just played di maria there instead.

It was reported that Coentrao had a serious bust up with Rui Faria in the last training session before this game.

Is it a temp problem that can be solved rather sooner than later?

Do you think we need some reinforcements in the winter window? ( I don't mean high buys or anything extravagant)

di maria should ride the bench till he learns how to play football again

No it's not a temporary problem. We definitely need a right back and perhaps a backup holding mid unless Khedira magically goes an entire half season without getting injured.

Getting back Marcelo and Higuain will be huge as well.

Perez should open his pocket and get a top-class midfielder. Someone like De Rossi or Yaya would be great.

Seems like Mourinho in a press conference stated that perhaps he should have had put faith in Morata and have him in the bench.

Many are trying to figure out who exactly did Mourinho mean by that. 68.5% of voters believe it was Di Maria based on performance.

Di Maria had a terrible game but Mourinhio's love for him is well documented....I doubt it's him. He doesn't necessarily seem to be talking about the performance, more the commitment...and Di Maria goes hard every game.

Benz got injured and came off after around 25 minutes. Before that he rarely touched the ball because Ronaldo and co were taking long shots and we were getting outplayed.

Doubt it's him either.

Unless he's implying Benz faked injury to come off...in which case...I'd be very pessimistic about his role in the team from here on out.

It's gotta be Di Maria imo

The other choices don't seem to make much sense.

Di Maria is the chicken.

Instead of trying to play simple as possible his doing things harder for himself.

It just does not apply to Di Maria in the slightest sense. You can fault Di maria for many things, but you can't question his commitment and willingness to play.

Pepe basically repeated what Mourinhio said as well.

Of course he doesn't mention Di Maria. Or anyone for that matter.
It's up to interpretation.

I feel like he may have indirectly singled out Di Maria based on his performance during that game.
