Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
I hear we might go for a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3
I'd rather play the 4-2-3-1. I don't know why we are going away from it when it obviously has given us better results than any other formation.
From what I hear we are going to look like this, I don't like it.
---------------------------Abbiati
De Sciglio-------Acerbi-----------Mexes---------Constant
Urby-------------Monty------------De Jong--------Nocerino
--------------------Bojan------------SES

Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
Are you sure it's not a 4-3-3 mtd ? Because if that was the formation , Ses would play were Noce is , there's no doubt about it
I think it will be a 4-3-3 , especialy if Nocerino is going to play . Truth be told , our best games have been with the 4-2-3-1 so far , but i can't talk against a 4-3-3 , because i think we can certainly play well within this system.

Apparently now SKY is saying even though it's a 4-3-3 on paper it might look more like a 4-3-1-2 with Prince having a more free role. not this again

Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
NAPOLI: De Sanctis, Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Gamberini, Maggio, Dzemaili, Hamsik, Inler, Zuniga, Insigne, Cavani.
MILAN: Abbiati, De Sciglio, Mexes, Acerbi, Constant, Montolivo, De Jong, Nocerino, Bojan, Boateng, El Shaarawy.
A 4-3-3 with Boateng as the attacker?! For what? His awesome shot? Amazing dribbling skills? Devastating runs?
Oh well, I see that Silvio is already putting pressure on Allegri.

Let's see what is happening on the field , but i hope it's a proper 4-3-3 , in all honesty.

Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
it's a clear 4-3-3 . Abbiati i don't know wtf . wtf . Ses , you unsexy beast
I really like the midfield , defence is shit as usual , Boateng better start looking for a team already . Throw Pazzo or Pato in and let Bojan play on the right.
Boateng better come off , his poor decision making is hindering our play in crusial moments.

We are actually scoring goals now...if we only had a decent defense

Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
we played really well today, both of their goals were lucky.
We can't seem to catch a break, it seems like everytime the opposition attacks we concede. We could have easily won this game.
Beating Juve at home could change our season.
I wish we get 2CB's in the winter market.

You Don't Say! Sorry I had to.
On topic, that was an amazing goal by SES, and Niang's first touches showed confidence which is very impressive for a player of his age.

Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
Beating Juventus in Turin ..seems hard to imagine with such defensive displays and it pains me much in teh ass to say this. We are collectively ineffective and often insecure when we defend.
However , i really don't want starting blaming this or that player right now. It seems better this way.
Overall , i am sure Milan will pick up soon enough , especialy after Pato gets back to norm and we buy 1-2 serious players in . Offensively , we can do great stuff. Ses , Montolivo , Bojan , they are doing so well , it's crazy to think we are in such a position in the table. Nocerino did very well too , though he looked really tired after the 65+minutes.. along with Constant who had his best game yet. Kudos to Robinho , impressed again after a long time .

This.
But, seriously, we need 2 CBs in Jan. Not just 1. And they both need to be top quality or at least potential top quality. The rest of the team is great compared to our CBs.

Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
I'm in a hurry so this'll be brief.
The 4-3-3 normally could've worked but was an absolute disaster when it came to selected these players. I cannot fathom why Nocerino starts considering he cannot fit into Allegri's re-invented system. I cannot fathom by Kevin Beggar Boateng is even near the line-up due to him trying a triple blueberry sunday backflip Ibrahimovic rather then making a simple pass. I cannot fathom why would would play a formation prone to counters especially when 4-2-3-1 has worked for us. Why did Bojan play as CF when he has been a revelation as an AM? Why not start Robinho or Pato or at least bring them earlier? Why not at least have Pazzo as our CF reference point?
Sounds like a lot of harsh criticism but Allegri really was just f**ked in the ass by Abbiati's best efforts to foil the game by having a cataclysm of mini cluster strokes when the ball approached him in the first half. This match cannot be judged in any form what we are capable of. I am proud of MDS for his valiant and intelligent performance. Despite Constant being defensively error prone, he is quite a handful in attack and works his ass off. I am absolutely LOVING Montolivo for the confident and cerebral warrior he has become in the midfield. I enjoy seeing De Jong grow and lock his position into his anchoring midfield role with his smart distribution. I enjoyed seeing Robinho not lose his touch with that elegant pass, as its obvious he has much left to contribute from that tank of talent. Most of all I absolutely adore SES for the pure clutch talent he is. There is not a thing he cannot do. His off the ball, on ball movement and creativity along with bonus eyes for goals is brilliant. His hard work is 92% compared to our #10 who only gives 10% on field. He is our next captain. Senatore? I ask you to groom the shit of this kid into our future superstar. Merkel who?

Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
Well said Arq, completely agree with you. Montilivo and SES have been incredible. We are in desperate need for CB's. I can't believe how we used to have the strongest CB pairing less than one year ago, and now we have the WORST! MDS and Constant are good, with better CB's and Abbiati being more consistent, we really can get a good streak of wins. I love SES, if we lose SES when all these big money clubs come for him, I will be HEARTBROKEN.

Seriously none of you guys were impressed with Acerbi's composure or strength he can be great if we can somehow pair him with a CB similar to Silva. Also Constant is a beast....haven't seen someone push Cavani around like that before.

Acerbi has potential but he needs to be played more to gain experience, I would've fancied him playing alongside T.Silva, and to be taught by none other than Nesta.

Re: AC Milan vs Napoli
Good result considering everything. We all expected a defeat, and started off the game in the worst possible manner. Napoli didn't play as good as you could expect them to. Still, almost got the win thanks to Abbiati and, judged by chances, could have deserved it. Milan, as much as we dominated, had like two clear cut chances and scored two goals. That's quite clinical for a change. Though the poor decision making in the final third is still something that worries me, and I don't even want to start talking about the defense. There is not a single defender in our squad that we can trust when the team is under pressure. And to think that Mexes is one of our highest paid players.... Shawarma
