Vidal > Khedira in every aspect
That's your opinion. Others see it differently, what is not a matter of opinion how ever is that when both were playing in the same league Khedira was considered the better player. Now he's at Real Madrid and is highly rated.
As for the list Khedira had a great Euro, Germany didn't make the final because of other players not doing their jobs properly, as well all know good Euro = Nomination. Marchisio deserves a mention before Vidal imo.

Re: Balon D'or 2012 list
Who's Xavi Alonso?
Messi should win it.
In terms of coaches it's between Di Matteo/Mourinho/Del Bosque.
And what's Pique doing there? Then again he had a good Euros.

True its a matter of opinion I can't deny that buy Vidal for me is more talented and better player than Khedira not saying that Kherdira is a bad player but Vidal for me is better than him

Re: Balon D'or 2012 list
Betting odds:
1. Messi 1.6 - 1.7
2. Cronaldo 3.5 - 4.5
3. Iniesta 3.8 - 6.0
x. Others +33
Probably how the top 3 will pan out, and IMO how it should pan out.

okish list
The only wtf players this time are, Ballo, Pique(did i actually see him there??), Roonay and Drogba. Remember last season when there was like a list of 10 players that should not have been there
But bet Drogba and Roonay will be in the top 10 while Ibra will be outside of it, it always amuses me when players who have been inferior to him finish above him
I can understand why Simeone didn't make it, he only played half a season and had less games than some of the others in club level as his Atleti where eliminated out of the Copa before he took over

Pirlo should win it this year, if the award has any credibility left

Because losing a final 4-0 is usually credited with an award?

Oh that's right, he did nothing else last season.. the highlight of his season was "losing a final 4-0" - thanks for reminding me..

Re: Balon D'or 2012 list
Pirlo was better than Iniesta all of last season. I watched almost all of Juve's games and he carried that team on his back - everything good Juve did happened because of Pirlo. Without him, I don't think they would've even been top 3 in Serie A.
Iniesta is fantastic, but where was he before the Euros ? He wasn't performing well for Barca for the majority of last season, remember? Where was he in the Euro's vs Portugal? I remember that game pretty clearly and Portugal were the better team for the majority of the game, and looked much more threatening than Iniesta's Spain... a penalty shootout win doesn't change anything.
Pirlo was the star of the Italy team in the Euros as well. Even in the final (which Prandelli BADLY messed up with his tactics, and Italy were cursed with their injury luck that game) , Pirlo was a solid performer. It is a shame, really...

I might get flamed for this, but iniesta's performances at the Euro are the most overrated I've seen.I'm not saying he was bad because he wasnt, but he was never really a standout.Pirlo definitely performed much better than him bar the final.

You realize that would place Torres [among others] above Pirlo
Anyways, I think it will go to Messi and I also think that it should. He's simply the best

I'm also wondering why Iniesta is getting talked about so much this time around.. He was far better the past few years imo
He would not be in my top 3 that's for sure..

Re: Balon D'or 2012 list
Sergio Aguero - cool but not the best attacker on his team so....
Xavi Alonso - no, but it´s cool he´s on the list, although I´d prefer to see Xavi the midget
Mario Balotelli - hahahaha jesus christ what is people´s boner with this guy. only 16 year olds and italians like this dude.
Karim Benzema - no
Gianluigi Buffon - no
Sergio Busquets - lol no
Iker Casillas - awesome goalie, but goalies should never win, there should be a seperate prize for them
Cristiano Ronaldo - should be either him or Messi, though he doesn´t deserve it as he obviously is not Messi
Didier Drogba - id love didier to win
Ramadal Falcao - maybe this year
Zlatan Ibrahimovich - will never win as he will never win a champions league
Andreas Inieista - shouldnt win. wasnt really all that and a bag of ships in euros and he needs to learn how to shoot
Lionel Messi - any idiot can see this is the obvious choice but since hes won 3 already...never know
Manuel Neuer - i would comment but having to look at Germans makes me sleepy
Neymar - ...really?
Mesut Oezil - hahahaha
Gerard Pique - even bigger lols
Andrea Pirlo - would be awesome

Re: Balon D'or 2012 list
Just saying that when it mattered the most his team got demolished, not implying every Spaniard deserves to be above Pirlo. Pirlo would be in my personal top 3 of Iniesta, Messi and Pirlo based on a mix of achievement and performance, but it's probably going to be Messi, Ronaldo and Iniesta in that order.Luca wrote:You realize that would place Torres [among others] above Pirlo

Well no it wouldnt, seeing as how torres isnt even on the list. But yes, I agree with Messi. Even a blind man could see him taking it. And Im a BIASED Falcao fan too.Luca wrote:BarrileteCosmico wrote:Because losing a final 4-0 is usually credited with an award?

Neuer even scores penalties if no one of the other outfield players dare. And it won't take long fore him to score from open play, too:la bestia negra wrote:Barrettinator wrote:Cech deserves to be there ahead of Neuer
