Messi will struggle at Britannia Stadium
James Collins just scored a hattrick there for Swindown to dump Stoke out of the competition.
Told you they'll be relegated this year....TP is losing the plot

They don't really improve that much every year imo. Hopefully they get relegated.

Shite team don't get the hype.....
We beat them 6-1 home and away last season and quite frankly it should have been more.

Terrible team to watch. I think the hype will be gone within a season or two.

Does Stoke really have the best defensive record in England, such that they are used as a gauge to measure Messi's ability to compete in the EPL, somebody tell me??

Re: Messi will struggle at Britannia Stadium
No they don't. They just tend to be overly agressive at defending and are probably the least technical team in both the Premier League and the Football League.gondov wrote:

Re: Messi will struggle at Britannia Stadium
Let's put it this way..... in our 3-0 victory against Stoke last season.
Ben Arfa had to be physically dragged to the ground to be stopped.
And i don't be tackled, there was an instance that Palacios put both of his arms round Ben Arfa's waist and forcefully tried to drive him to the ground and still Ben Arfa came out with the ball
Now if they struggle with him, imagine what Messi would do to them....

Stokes at a disadvantage now because the EPL pitch size was standardized

Messi would struggle. Struggle walking from the pitch unassisted by the time those savages are done.
I thought Stoke were playing a second string side tonight but Swindon really put 4 past a full strength Stoke

Re: Messi will struggle at Britannia Stadium
Messi would walk around the britania and still score a hat-trick. This team is boring to watch and it seems they have not plan to play football. I know its a joke and everything just sharing my thought. I know no person would actually believe messi would struggle against stoke unless they are very very dumb!
We will never know the outcome because Barcelona will never play stoke. There are big teams in football and there are scrubs like stoke. 99% of the time they dont play each other.

Re: Messi will struggle at Britannia Stadium
stoke are a joke lmao, their fans were treating bruno like a deity after his "performance" against them
though i gotta say i love how some people brag about getting a result there, the whole "we handled crouch" thing... big *bleep* deal, dealbert handled crouch
sooner they're gone from top division football the better...
