Re: Who'll be Prem's first sacked managed this season
Roman only sacks manager around January while the window is open or in the summer.
If we're out of the Top 4 by January he'll be sacked. As long as he can keep Chelsea in the Top 4 this season he'll keep his job until Guardiola is available in the summer.

Steve Clarke's isn't happening. The guy will make WBA into a defensive barrier. And there's also no pressure on Rodgers, all he has to do is finish above Everton and better than 8th. Anything else is a bonus.

Re: Who'll be Prem's first sacked managed this season
at people saying Rodgers.
We went on a 7 game losing streak in the league last season...and still didn't sack the manager mid-season.
Plus, Henry has already stated he doesn't expect top 4, so unless we are battling relegation, there is no way Rodgers is getting sacked

Re: Who'll be Prem's first sacked managed this season
Rodgers will be given time. It would take massive failure in multiple competitions to instigate a change this season.
My money is on Allardyce or Martin Jol. I can see Fulham tanking in the early season (especially if they lose Dempsey. However, they've not necessarily been a club for making mid-season managerial changes. West Ham, on the other hand... I could see them languishing near the bottom for a while, costing Allardyce his job. ('Arry to replace him before the start of the January transfer window.)

Why are so many people saying Rodgers? He will be much better than any manager they had in the past couple of seasons.

He's gonna get found out imo. It's all well and good coming in to a team in dissaray and steady the boat, but with the pressure of a full season in which he has to implement his own ideas and make key decisions, he'll be found out.

If Hughes is to be sacked, I think it'll be around January or so.
It's common for relegation candidate sides to hire a manager to save them later on in the season.
