as long as we survive and don't make it too hard for ourselves I really don't care how many we win/lose

one thing is for sure tho, the WHOLE defence needs to be revamped and we need to sell Ivan and Mateos asap in the summer

we have Suarez, Derik and Noblejas in the c team who could easily start for castilla and are alot better than our current starting defenders

we also need a striker possibly Sobrino from the C team and Benevante should be promoted to play as an AM

all the scrubs we got in the summer namly Ivan, Mateos, Fabinho, Borja and Casemiro (january) should be given out for free because they are the ones who have been the worst of all the players and who have dragged the whole team down with their shitty performances

This is what I would do with Castilla if I was coach of it.

We really need to renew the squad. Players like Mosquera, Juanfran and Casado are leaving after this season. We need to sell players like Mateos and Ívan. They are both 25 but they are just useless. We really need beter defenders. Maybe Llorente from Real Madrid C. He is physically strong, 1.93 and he's good with the ball. Central duo should be Derik-Llorente imo next season.

Casado is leaving (his contract expires and he doens't want to renew). We should promote Noblejas from Real Madrid C. And then we should promote Ádrian (leftback for Juvenil A) to Real Madrid C. When Noblejas was injured Ádrian played his games at Real Madrid C and he did pretty well.
I have no clue what will happen to Fabinho. He's on loan, with an option to sign him on a permanent deal. But the kid got a contact till 2018!!! So I don't think we will permantly sign him. No idea who's playing rightback next season at Castilla. Maybe Joel Johanson (rightback from Real Madrid C) or Oscar (rightback from Juvenil A).

But we definitly need to buy some quality defenders from other clubs. I don't think the defense ?Oscar/Joel?-Derik-Llorente-Noblejas is good enough for the Segunda.

On the midfield I would go with Álex-José Rodríguez. Mosquera is on loan so I think he's going back to Getafe. We got that Casemiro kid, same thing with Fabinho. He's on loan but we got an option to sign hem permantly. Casemiro and his agent also said he's a player for the first team. He only plays at Castilla to get comfortable and then he is going to the first team.
We also got Álvaro Medrán at Real Madrid C. He was in the Juvenil A this season but now he's playing at Real Madrid C. He is a player with qualities, got an amazing crossball, vision and rarely loses the ball.

I would make Benavente my first AM. Benavente is imo one of the biggest talents we got. I really don't know why he is still playing at the Juvenil. He has like 15 goals and 10+ assists at Juvenil A. Also saw him play at the Sudamericano U20 tournament in Argentina. He did pretty well at the tournament.

I would make Raúl de Tomás my first striker. He played the pre-season with Castilla and he was part of the squad. Toril gave him a couple of minutes but not much. He played matches with the Juvenil A and scored 13 goals under of a total of 600 minutes. Kid was obvisous to good for the Juvenil so now he's playing at Real Madrid C. He's doing quite good with 8 goals in 12 appearances. He's got a powerful shot, great free kick taker, physically strong, great movement off the ball and scores alot of goals. Last season he scored 31 times for the Juvenil A and season before that he scored 27 times for the Juvenil B.

Left flank I would keep Denis. I don't think Denis has qualities to make it to the first team but he's a good player for Castilla. Also, Madrid doens't want to sell him and Denis wants to succeed at Real Madrid. Some clubs bid on him in the January transfer window, including CSKA Moscow. But he didn't want to leave and also Real Madrid didn't want to sell him.

As Juanfran is leaving I have no clue who will be a starter at the right in attack. Lucas isn't good enough to be a starter imo. And I don't think we got good right attackers at Real Madrid C. Maybe Juvenil? I don't know.

Also I would promote Pachecho to Castilla and make him a starter. Mejías is not having his best season and he's already '24'. I doubt he will go the first team because I think Jesús is beter. Iker first goalie, Lopez second goalie, Jesús third goalie.

My first 11 for next season with out any bought players from other clubs:

Very young team and maybe to inexperienced for staying in the Segunda. But the midfield and attack is very good imo if we buy a good right attacker. We just need some good quality players in the defense.

To people who are thinking, where is Jesé? After this season he is either on first team or he's at another club. I really don't think Jesé wants to play another year in the Segunda with Castilla if he doens't get chances in the first team. Jesé is probably the biggest talent in La Fabrica and it's just so fking stupid he doens't get minutes at the first team this season. But if he stays at Castilla for another year I would put Jesé on left flank and keep Denis as back-up.

the times I have watched the Cteam Suaarez has been starting next to Derik I haven't seen much of Llorente tbh. Also everytime Casado has been away Rios has taken his place now I don't know how old he is but I have a feeling he will be the starting LB next season eventhough we all want to see Noblejas

Lucas is not average I do think he does pass back alot but the guy sure knows how to beat his man. I think we would do alot better if we had inverted wingers imho Denis seems to cut in anyhow

everything else I agree with, we also have Belima and Ruben in the C team remember, Belima could really give Denis a solid run for his money I believe

what we lack is a decent striker I don't know how well raul de thomas could do for castilla but he would be alot better than our current striker thats for sure but will he be promoted over Sobrino

as for Jese for the love of god just promote the kid already, Morata can back up the striker that stays in the summer and Jese can back up both DiMaria and Ronaldo no problem. I jusy hope we don't lose him like we lost Mata and Carvajal

Last couple of matches Llorente doens't play in the centre anymore I think. He often plays on rightback now because injury/suspension from Joel Johnson I think. But Molero-Llorente is the main duo in the defense. Atleast from like October till December and when Derik was with Castilla. Haven't catched the last couple of games of Real Madrid C, still need to watch them.

I like Lucas but I don't think he's good enough to be a starter in the Segunda. I think he's a great player to get in the field in like the 70th minute when the other team is tired. He's fast and like you said knows how to beat his man.

I really hope Raúl de Tomás will be our first striker next year. I really like him. Or we could promote them both lol, but then we got 3 strikers at Castilla. Sobrino, Raúl de Tomás and Óscar Plano.

I think we lost Jesé already. Sure you have read his interview with Marca. You just could read his frustration. Also a couple of months before that interview his agent, Gines Carvajal, already complained that Jesé didn't get minutes at the first team. He said if Jesé didn't get minutes in the first team they may need to look at other clubs. And now Jesé has also said his part.

Jesé Rodríguez is confident he is doing well enough to be given some playing time in the first team. And he has no problems in saying so. The last competitive match with Real Madrid for the 'pichichi' of Real Castilla (13 goals) was on 24th March 2012 against Real Sociedad.



Isn't your objective to move up to the first team?
There are good players in the first team but right now all of us in the academy see it as being a long way off. I don't know what's going on there but Mourinho is picking players from the first team more, which is normal, but I think that the academy is working well too.

Why do you think you have not had an opportunity in the first team?
I don't understand it. I keep on working hard but I don't know. I'm thinking about my team now and myself, that's the priority. I'm going to keep on working hard there and I hope the club knows I'm working hard, I'm sure they do know and they will be watching.

He still is, but we're not so close anymore.

And with Mourinho?
Mourinho is a manager who demands a lot from his players. I tried to learn as much as I could from him and he obviously demands a lot from the academy players, even more so of the academy players, and I learned what I could from him.

Do you think he is a good coach with regard to the academy?
I think he's a coach who surrounds himself with players that have already made it. The academy coach is Toril.

I really don't know why his contract isn't renewed.. His contract expires after next season. So just renew his contract and promote him, renew his contract and loan him to a club in La Liga. Or we could sell him like Carvajal but that would be just stupid... He's ready for the first team, I just don't know why Mou is not giving him minutes. Rumors say it's because the relationship between Toril and Mou. If you type in Google 'Jesé's problems' and click the first link you get an article about the situation. Very good site in particular on Spain youth football.

About Carvajal. Strong rumors we will get him back next season. El Confidental (quality newspaper in Spain) had an article about it. When Carvajal was Spain to watch a game of Castilla Pérez went to him. Pérez said that Carvajal would play at Madrid again next season and that he was a symbol and representation of the club. I hope it's true. Carvajal isn't doing as good as his first half with Leverkusen but still he's doing quite well.

Jese is not renewing his contract because he wants to see what happens to me. He is heads and shoulder above the segunda level, and deserves a promotion. If that doesnt happen, he will ask out. But then again, if he leaves, when we see him back at the club is up in the air.

Remember that Carvajal is a success story, and that wont happen all the time. Also, Carvajal was way more mature as a young man (imo) than Jese currently is. It's a huge part of why he succeeded away from madrid, maturity. Carvajal is future captain potential in a couple of years if things to well. Jese isnt that kind of lad, his blood spins a little too fast, and needs lots of maturing.

If Jese goes, i hope he joins Betis. Otherwise, he could occupy Callejon spot in the first team as far as im concerned.

I can understand his frustration tho its not like he h a s only been good for one season he wss our best player last season as well, morata was nowhere near our best player yet he was the one promoted supposedly to play in Jeses position (wing). Jese ignored this and was superb till February then his interest just dropped like a sack of potatoes after again he kept being ignored eventho he had been literally carrying castilla on his back

Mou doesnt give a flying feck tho he is a short term manager and would not mind seeing all our youngsters leave because he simply does not have long term in his mind, evidenced by forcing carvajal to leave and trying to buy ivanovic lastly settling for the already known to be past it Arbeloa.

So apparently the club are extremely impressed by Casemiro's performances that they want to keep him at the club. Casemiro wants to stay if he is promoted, and I think keeping will be a good idea since we have Michael Essien moving back and Lass also out, we need another holding midfielder like him

Soo.... Castilla lost with 2-0 against Las Palmas. Just unbelievable if you saw many chances there were created and how many shots the keeper of Las Palmas saved. But after the loss Castilla is now at the fifteenth place with 35 points. Luckily Guadalaraja played 2-2 against Ponferradina and Mirandés lost 0-2 to Alcorcón. Place fifteenth to nineteenth:

Castilla is having a terrible season however the C team is having a tremendous season. They won with 3-0 against Marino and because of the win they are at the sixth place with 44 points. Coruxo also has 44 points but Real Madrid C has a better goal ratio (don't know how to say that in English properly). Caudal and Fuenlabrada draw against eachother and that's really good for Real Madrid C.

It would be so weird if Castilla would be regulated to the Segunda División B and Real Madrid C were promoted to the Segunda División A. Imo Real Madrid C is having a much better season and there playing much better. They got some quality players with Pacheco (goalkeeper), Llorente (central defender), Noblejas (leftback), Medrán (central midfielder) and of course Raúl de Tomás (striker). José Manuel Díaz, coach of Real Madrid C, atleast gives younger player more chances. He gave Médran from the Juvenil A minutes and he's doing amazing. Amazing player, so much ease with the ball and his long balls are impressive. And when Noblejas was injured he gave Ádrian (leftback at Juvenil A) a place in the starting eleven and he did pretty good imo. Stable in defense and not bad in attacking. Raúl de Tomás barely got any minutes at Castilla so he played with Juvenil A again. Far to good for Juvenil A (like 12 goals in 500 minutes) so they gave him a chance at Real Madrid C and he's doing really good. Already scored 8 goals for the C team. Somtimes a little precarious but he´s still young. I really think he has qualities to reach the first team (same as Medrán). He also got called up for Spain U19 for the friendy match against Germany that will be played at Wednesday at 8 pm. But due a injury he isn't able to play :/.

This year Toril is doens't very good as a coach imo. Of course Castilla has the wordt defence of the Segunda División A but still. He keeps playing with idiots like Mateos and ívan. They are both 25 but they can't play for shit. Why doensn't he give Derik more chances? I don't like him very much either but he only 20 and he can develop. Toril also could give Llorente from Real Madrid C some chances. He's having a really good season at the C team.
And Mosquera keeps starting at the first eleven. Mosquera is a nice player but he is already 24. He is never going to be a first team player and after this season he's gone. So why is he starting like every match? And after Casemiro came Álex and José Rodríguez aren't getting like any minutes. José Rodríguez only played like 43 minutes in the second half of the season. He is with Jesé our biggest talent so he needs minutes.
And the way how we are playing isn't very good either. Last season in the Segunda División B we were playing amazing football and we tore every team open. Now we need a individual play from Jesé... And he isn't doing very well the last couple of matches to say at least so we don't get much points. Why can't we play like last year? Damn, the 4 play-off games were just magic. But of course we had a Joselu was playing his best matches ever. Joselu had 7 goals and 2 assists in the 4 matches, he was soooo good. And of course we had Carvajal.
