That's as of now.....but before....people were definitely on Di Maria's case when the season stated and many wanted him gone.

Di Maria is one of the lowest paid players in the team but he runs twice as Ronaldo and he help the defence.

you can't compare this two. I don't like Di Maria's final passes but if he screw up an attack atleast you are sure that he can help the defence but for Ronaldo you can't say that.

If it was Higuain instead of Ronaldo we could've win against Barca and the difference between us could've been 9.

Short term, anything is possible

Long term, win precentage would decrease

Ronaldo and other star players, produce over long haul, even after slumps. Players like Higuain and Benzema, likely, not, which is why ( in my opinion ) the often "quoted" stats ( mintes to goal ration) are meaningless.

Ronaldo gets much more attention from the opposition ( today is agood case in point ) than Higuain and Benzema, OR, he would have even moe chances to score.

Ronald, as mentioned elsewhere on thread, is a "winner" and has the "it factor". Benzema and Higuain, for example, do not.

onaldo is alock to be an alltime great. Only other player on team who fits ( or will ever fit ) , that description, is Casillas.

Plus...I saw Ronaldo GENUINELY celebrate the goals of others, today! Go figure!

that is our best offense and i have been saying it forever. crystiana ruins everything. but it doesnt matter. we must sell his shirts and allow him to SCORE that 5-0 and 6-0 against granada to WIN that pichihi. thats all that matters.
