tevez was never our player to sell or release, he was on a two year loan which he completed

Diego Forlan wasn't cutting in England and thus was sold as we wasn't effective at all. He eventually found his way in Spain. I don't have much of an idea why Rossi or Pique was let go though...

they could have retained Tevez. They let him go, which was a more than obvious mistake.

Also CRonaldo, much more effective in England, however I think he held Rooney back so I'm not sure

Pique wanted to go, they had no choice in that.
Forlan and Rossi were terrible for them. Rossi couldnt win a place at Newcastle, never mind Utd.
Learnt alot and improved in Spain, but it was never going to happen at Utd for him.
