Avoid Russia - so no CSKA or Zenit. I also wouldn't like to go against Napoli - but only because I like them and I hope they get a good campaign.

We have to play against Valencia(home) & Atletico (Away)..
Traveling to Russia ( long distance + weather conditions) is not healthy for the team.. France is very close to Barcelona.. so i prefer to play against french teams!! Basel would be gd too ( Joan Gamper is already proud of both teams reaching the 2nd round )..
1- Avoid Russian teams
2- Napoli ( at home they are strong + its not healthy to play vs valencia, atletico & napoli in just 7-10 days )!!

Alf the reason i say avoid Napoli like the plague is because they exactly the team Barca struggles against.......
Defend deep and hit you on the counter in 2 seconds flat, they are very similar in lots of ways to the Inter team that won it all......
Barca would struggle against them imo.....

We manita'd them a few months ago, I wouldn't lose too much sleep over getting them tbh. I really am not concerned about anyone other than Real Madrid. For me its like this:

Bayern could prove a little difficult... and Milan and a couple of others won't be pushovers but we should really be making the final again.

The rest have unique features which could cause problems.
Be it, travel, Weather, physical strength, counter attack, team spirit.

I really do believe this is our CL to lose.
I would be very very surprised if we are not the champions come June.
We finally have a terrific squad,have figured out how to win away under Pep in the CL and none of the other teams are even remotely near us.
If we dont win it this year,I would be very very disappointed.
So for me any of those teams is not a problem.We will smash them all.

Its not pride.Its just the way I see it.
The only team I really feared were United and they are out.
Rest of them including Real,I am sure we will beat them.
We lost in 2010 against Inter because of a poor squad,a volcano and a worthless piece of garbage who has now been kicked out of the club.
The above problems are not there this season.

Alex the problem is that a lot of these games come down to one goal, and an offside goal, a missed chance, a penalty not called - all these things decide our campaign. I agree that Barca are the best team in the competition, but you can't discount that luck factor. Should Iniesta, Messi, Xavi or Pique go in a 6 month injury we would be in deep trouble.

Just one game, the rest I have seen some form of consistancy and also I think they all offer something unique and different.
Lyon arent terrible, but some holes in the team and I dont think they play possession superbly or counter superbly well.
I think of all the teams, we would probably stamp our style on the game with the least resistance.
