If eto'o wasnt so damn good in the first half of last season, Rafa would have been out the door quicker than Gasperini.
He is an absolutely terrible coach who won a fluke champions league with an overachieving Liverpool squad.
His transfers are some of the worst pieces of business ever witnessed.
I hope Benitez goes to coach in Uzbekistan with Scolari cuz imo they ae on the same level.

I love how before 2009 no one rated Alonso....No one thought he is worth 14M, no one realized we did the double on Inter without Alonso, or Alonso missed an entire year for injury and then struggled for form...now people are talking like they knew it all.
At least it's not as bad as suggesting 2009 version of Deco is better than Sneijder.

Funnily enough, looking at what they've both won since Rafa decided that gives him vindication.
Hell even Scott Parker is a bigger scoring threat from DM than Xabi Alonso

RobbyV, please stop trolling/de-railing the thread. This is/was about Rafa's analysis and predictions for the England-Spain game. There is absolutely no need to attack the man's character, bring up transfers, or talk out your ass about things you've no idea about (Liverpool's financial situation).
