I would actually let him be absorbed into the midfield three....barring perhaps occasions where that midfield is vulnerable to damage (not simply over matched - but when acute defensive issues occur).

I like the idea of Ozil having the time and space to carry the ball - it's something Zidane really flourished at. He gets to build up momentum, to do his running in space, and to play the game n his terms. | also like the idea of someone who is as selective as Modric having someone who instinctively drives play forward as his natural passing option. There's a good symmetry to it.

I agree with that. In a 3-5-2 the middle 3 have to be good ball carriers anyway.

Uhh why? Arbeloa's comments weren't really very bad at all. It's was more of a "We should have done better as a group" type thing. He included himself in the blame so it's not like he betrayed anyone like that b*tch Pepe.

Anyway all of you need to show more respect to Arbeloa. He'll be a great influence on Carvajal and provide great back up when needed.
