Not as much as you said !! They played well in the second half when we were running out of charge.

Now it’s getting interesting; 5 down 4 to go!!!!!
When are you guys going to recognize that I do know a bit about what I predict?

Adan
Lass Varane Pepe Coentrao
Sahin Alonso
Benzema Ozil Callejon
Higuain

Granero Sad

Anyway awesome front 4, great back 4 and a 'BOSS' midfield

I assume Granero comes on for Alonso after half time. Also expect Albiol for Lass or even possibly Altintop. Mou is conducting auditions for Copa games line-up!!

If we do the expected (4-0) then we truely can say we have incredible depth on this team. Only players without a defined "fit" are Granero and Altintop.

Not only did I give starting line-up hours before game, I also gave the half time substitutions. And re the score – at least I was correct re half time score.
sportsczy wrote:Guys.... keep in mind that we are playing a team that has never been on the field together. In fact, 3 of them barely play, 1 is just returning from injury for his first Madrid start, and the other is playing RB for the second time this season. All these 4-0 projections are waaaay too optimistic. We may actually lose this game.

Cohesive play is just as important as talent.

Sports, I don’t think you appreciate just how good our depth is this year. That line-up in second half is our likely line-up for the upcoming copa games minus either Benz or Higgy with Morata likely starting. If Carvaho and Kaka are recovered I would expect them in the 2nd half.

Great performance. After the first 20 mins, we put it in cruise control. A lot of rusty players as a i mentioned in the other thread in the 2nd half.

Don't mean to focus on Albiol... but there's nothing comforting about him being in a game lol.

I hate the fact that Gijon is probably gonna start the "park the bus, with your lives" trend, against bigger teams.
Anyway 4 games left, winning 3 three consecutive matches and drawing with farca, is good for us imo, in that state.

I expect us to win every game we play.. The only tricky ones are of course against Barca but beside that we're superior to every other team hands down.. Just a matter of going out and getting the job done

Now 6, we wait now til next weekend for a week of futbol left to go.

Oct 29 - @ R. Sociedad 0-1
Nov 2 - @ Lyon (CL) 0-2
Nov 6 - Osasuna 7-1
Nov 19 - Valencia 2-3
Nov 22 - D. Zagreb (CL) 2-6
Nov 26 - Atletico 4-1
Dec 4 - @ Sporting
Dec 7 - @ Ajax (CL)
Dec 10 - Barcelona
[/quote]

These next games will be tough, but I still believe I'm right on with my prediction. Although Gijon are difficult at home, Mou hasn't said anything this year to upset them and even though Xabi is out, Sahin is ready to step into his place. The point advantage over Barca is too importnat for us to slip up.

Ajax at home will also be hard, but they are virtually secured in 2nd, so I expect the better team to win.

And finally the classico. We have the momentum, confidence and home stadium so although it will be extremely difficult I'm still out on the edge saying we will win.

Looking beyond the classico, we have 2 copa games and in between we play in Sevilla. Back to my original prediction of 10 wins, I'm going to refer back to it (I had the wrong date for the first Copa game) and say we will win the 10th. I don't want to predict for the Sevilla game so I'll rest my predictions upon the 10th win.

Now are you guys going to try to make money on my predictions!!!!!!!!!

I predict a win but I don't pretend to be able forecast scores. I have been lucky a couple of times in this regard, but come on now I'm not a Paul.

If you insist I would say 3-1, but it's just a guess.

Not that bad Thumbs up
