like the ref that refereed our game vs malaga
non-tolerant, but at the same time doesnt stop the flow of the game and doesnt reach for him pocket every second.
i liked him, what was his name again??
Yes, I think he was very good. I know refs mostly from looks, dont really remember their names apart from a few.

Why dont you guys create a separate Bash Barca section?
nick and his fellow band of Stoke fans have nothing better to do it seems.
The Gen Sec would be rid of rubbish and the Stoke fans can spout nonsense all they want in the separate section.
Agreed 100%. ANY story that comes out about Barca that has the slightest bit of negativity gets posted and everyone totally goes crazy like Barca is a team full of Nazi child molesters. And then the funny thing is they act like the thread wasn't about Barca and there a saint and we are being delusional. The funnier thing is when it comes out that someone was misquoted or the story was wrong people just pretend they didn't act like Barca were Nazi child molesters and trol around until the next story comes out and they can start the cycle all over again.
I don't care one bit if you want to bash Barca you have every right, but I agree with Alex just start a new section because when we post a positive article about Barca the first thing that gets said is move it to the Barca section.

romero kicked Maxwel. Check again Hala.
The second red was harsh but it didn't affect the outcome of the game

and he was right to be frustated also.. he wasnt offside , was clearly onside, and it was actually a very good chance.. their forwards were in very good positions plus it couldve been their least chance of the match

Indeed.
However Barca was denied a similar chance earlier.
Anyway the ref was awful in general for both sides

Supporting 2 teams is in fact possible. I know that this isnt the case in Nick's situation, but there is no conflict of interest in supporting your local team (however small it is) and then a bigger club (such as Real Madrid).

Maybe your local team is already big, but what about those who come from places with smaller teams? Like, first division of one of the worst leagues in Europe?
Obviously, everyone has a bigger team they support. I doubt that most of the fans on this forum actually come from the city their team is based. And by that, I mean there are probably only very few who do.

I was joking lol and my team is very small and not very good outside of my country! I support them fully and forever but that's probably because of the way I was raised and the way I was brought up in and around the stadium.
I do watch lots of other leagues so I can catch the actions of the big guys, but for some reason I can't stop supporting Wisla and following one of the big guns fully!
No disrespect intended!

The second yellow resulting in a red is a beauty. If the opponent who's behind and losing kicks the ball away in frustration, why does that have to result in a yellow card?
You guys both realize that kicking the ball away after the whistle has been blown is a totally yellow card worthy offense right? LOL. You could even put it under two categories, 'delay of game' and 'unsporting conduct'. Law 12- FIFA for reference btw
Now do I personally hand out a second yellow for that? No, that's not a good way to give a person a red, I like to talk to them instead and verbally warn them. However is it in his power to give the second yellow? No. Is it wrong? By the book, it's totally and perfectly acceptable.
Just sayin.
EDIT: Didn't want anybody to get the impression that the ref was good. He was terrible. I'm just saying the second yellow is totally within his right of power, and any ref, for that matter.

Sometimes its isnt about wasting time though, and those referees that dont award yellows for that understand that fully i assume.CBarca wrote:

i mean he was called offside and got pissed off so he just shot the ball away in frustration(they were behind mind you)
tbh, i personally have lost the count of how many times higgy used to do that in the previous seasons( and i am not kidding he hasnt got a single card for it), now are you telling me that all those referees collectively dont know anything and have together came to a conclusion to let el pipa do that??? No, its just that those referees understand that sometimes you get frustrated and kick the ball away(sometimes even on the linesman) without the intention to delay the match
Anyways mostly those who kick the ball away, are those players that gets frustrated because they are behind and on the verge of losing...not necessarily the sevillas of football, but referees are expected to visualise the situation and differ between Unsportmanslike conduct and pure frustration methink
however i do think its wrong though, as it would prbably get out of hand if everyone decided to do it
i just think it was unfair for that granada players to be carded considering the circumstances, thats all
