he won us a game against Sevilla that put us in the title race, he was the player who scored against Bayern Munich and got us in the Champions League final
like it or not, inconsistant or whatever,
he showed up when it really mattered and thats what makes legends

But, of course he's a legend.
He was here for more than 2 decades.
Doesn't match up to the likes of Raul/Zidane/Sanchis or whoever, but 20 odd years is a long time.
Personally, he's amongst the most talented midfielders I've ever seen.
But without a doubt, he remains the best passer in terms of a killer ball ever.
On form, the man couldn't be touched...

Unfortunately, he was played as a DM at a time where the club was in the pits... Also, he always had the attitude of a spoilt brat.

But, if not for that, he would make Xavi look like an amateur...
But then again, that is a "what if" situation...

i think in 2007 we were 0-1 down to Sevilla in the 60th minute and the table looked like this
1.Barca
2.Sevilla
3.Madrid
Guti came on, first pass he made was to Ruud Van Nistelrooy and 1-1
then he got another assist with a through ball that i just did not imagine
and then opens up the play for Ramos

No way this guy is a legend. he will be remember as a decent long time player but not a legend. Plse - our standards are much better than that.

His laziness, poor attitude, poor defense, inconsistency and maricon ways far outshine his moments of brillance.
