No January switch for Quagliarella
The representative of Fabio Quagliarella has categorically ruled out a January move for his client.
The striker’s future has become a topic of discussion after playing for just 14 minutes so far in Serie A this season.
Although back to full fitness after missing the last six months of the previous campaign with knee ligament damage, new boss Antonio Conte has rarely used him so far.
“A January move is out of the question,” Giuseppe Bozzo told Tutto Juve on Monday. “Quagliarella was and is a Juventus player.
“As soon as he returns to action then he’ll be able to demonstrate his qualities, those that he already put on show before his injury.
“Fabio is now at the disposal of the Coach and is just waiting for the opportunity to return to action as a protagonist.
“To play real games is fundamental for him now. I just hope he’s fielded soon as training and practice games in the week are not the same as official matches.
“Only by playing in those can he prove to everyone that he is back.”
Quagliarella, signed outright from Napoli in the summer, scored nine goals in 17 League games for the Old Lady in 2010-11.

Re: No January switch for Quagliarella
good news. This actually has quotes in it, which can at least give us an indication of what will happen in the future.
I think we are taking a good (yet somewhat pragmatic) approach to our stiker situation. We have had so many injured players recently, and if we play all of them now, some will indoubtedly get injured leaving us with no one should a crisis hit our strters.
look at it this way, the ones that DONT PLAY, are the ones with the most expierence (in the team or in general) and are also the most injury prone (Toni, Quagliarella, and Iaquinta)
